Today is 8 of Jan 2011. There were no takers for Ganguli in IPL. Ganguli's contribution to Indian cricket is immense. He is the greatest captain of Indian cricket. Is this how we treat our heroes? He made us proud as Indians on many occasions. Is our memory so bad???? Shame on us Indians.

With all this qualities I fail to understand people like Bishen Bedi and Chappel who was no less than a thug.

I agree he is a good player, but I differ people like him and Dravid used to fear McGrath Bowling and these people keep on playing for India although there are lots of people who play better than these people but never get a cricketing chance. I am glad at least now we have people who can hit six sixes in single over and a captain who has the ability to win world cups.

Totally disagree, remember Kolkotta test, where was McGrath. Also in Australia India dominated the whole series, tone set by Ganguly 147, and thanks to Bucknor otherwise Australia to me lost the series. The last series was really over the board. Both Ganguly and Dravid again victims not to mention Sachin. Come on the whole world saw what happened.
