  • i sold mine and now im sad. i think im gonna get another but now they all have the 2 stage trigger

  • i have the older version of that gun just got a scope for it but the scope rings broke so im gonna get some see through scope mounts tomorro

  • @oya691 Sounds good. Tell me how they work out for ya.

  • @workensmart will do i think i will zero it in tomorro

  • i have this gun it is good quality like all my marlens the bolt is extremly smooth if you get the chance buy this gun

  • Why didn't you mention it's a magun?

  • @BETTYBONGOS00 The 925 is not a magnum. Its a .22lr

  • Bro, isn't this a magnum?

  • how much did that scope cost?

  • @skateboy159 not much like 159

  • @workensmart oh ok thanks

  • @skateboy159 If I had to do it all over again I'd get the Nikon Prostaff. Its a better scope for the same price. I have one on my .22wmr

  • beautiful gun

  • @AkimboNinjaPWN Thank you. Its not to fancy but it gets the job done. I've only had two jams but no miss fires or anything else in the 5,000+ rounds that I've put through it.

  • @workensmart I have one. It definitely is a worthy farm gun. We've had it since I was born, and it was the first gun I've ever shot. Of course through the ages the front iron sight went missing, and we lost the clips, but it still works fine for what we do...trapping varmits and shooting them in the head. (We live on a large area of land and we have horses and chickens, so we can't have groundhogs to make holes and break horses feet and raccoons to kill chickens.)

  • @AkimboNinjaPWN Yep what more do ya need? It does what yoou need it to and that's all that matters

  • @workensmart That's the way I was raised. I'm never going to buy a worthless desert eagle. .22 is the deadliest caliber in the world. .357 is the highest I'll go.

  • @AkimboNinjaPWN Well if you get head shots than I guess lol.

  • @workensmart yep. plus, in real life people won't get back up right away and start shooting at you. fire a gun once, and they'll back off. :) We have a .22 beretta for home defense.

  • Quick question, when you have the weaver scope bases installed can you still use the iron sights? or are they obstructed?

  • @TWOMBS76 they are obstructed.

  • that sux. well, im still looking around, want to get a good deal.

  • my friend bought this rifle for 125 plus tax because the dealer said that originally but after the dealer looked at the price tag it said 190. so he kept his word and sold it for 125. It is a nice rifle and very accurate. i want to buy one now!

  • @cruzlc875 yeah they are nice. BTW the 925's go for 170~180 ish, 190 is high but your friend got a good deal lol. I bought a Russain M44 for 159. They go for 300+ today. I'd say I got a great deal lol.

  • @workensmart Wow, you also got a steal for your M44! I guess I'm the only one who doesn't have good luck. haha

  • @cruzlc875 well I did get ripped off on my 91/30. I payed 170 for it lol. thats like 90 too much.

  • Its a very good rifle

  • Your Camera Is Weird... Its Got Good Audio Quality But Not So Good Video Quality... Thats Weird...

  • @MayThePidgeRise101 This was done with my shitty JVC camera. It had dolby digital sound and a crappy image sensor. I now have a Sony DCR SX 44 which is much better.

  • @workensmart No I Mean Its Got Really Good Audio!!

  • @MayThePidgeRise101 I know, I said it had dolby digital audio which is very good. I was also agreeing that the video quality was poor (when I said it had a "crappy image sensor").

  • Hi, the marlin 925 is a great rifle i've had mine for about 3 years now and never had a problem with it... been hiting rabbits any were from 15 to 120 meters with it! Hahaha. One question, where did you get those magazines?

  • @CharlesWalbaum You should be able to get them from your local gun store. Thats were I got mine. they had a bunch in stock so I bought two more.

  • thats a great gun my dads has 100% accuracy from a 100 yards he can hit a chipmunks face from my back porch

  • Loved the vid. Couple questions. 1st, could you post a vid of how to clean the 925? I'm a bit new to gun care (been hunting for 5 years but my grandpa always cleans / oils our guns). Also, you mentioned you have a Ruger 10/22. Been thinking about replacing this one with a 10/22, as the bolt action isn't too great for skittish woodchucks. How does the 10/22 shoot compared to the 925? My 925 shoots ~3 inch groups @ 40 yards with Federal High Velocity hollowpoints.

  • @PreMedDerek Thanks. I'm not going to make a video on how to clean the rifle for liability reasons (Too many scum bags and dumb asses on you tube) There are other videos on here that can help you with that. The standard 10/22 carbine is not as accurate as the 925. But The 10/22 sporter is almost as accurate. The 10/22 that I have is a limited run called the K10/22-22 which has a 22 inch barrel, I have a video up of that rifle. My K10/22-22 is just as accurate as my 925.

  • Would you happen to know if the 10 round mags from the 795 are compatible? They look the same except for color and its a nice thing for me to know before I buy :)

    Thanks.

  • @XtremeConditioning well I have the accessories book that came with my 925 and it said that the 7 round mags will work with the 925 and the 795. But the 10 round mags will only work with the 795. which makes no sense to me. But try the 10 round clip in your 925 at the gun store. (if the 10 round does not fit than you know it won't work) but if the mag does fit than just check and see that the follower (the red plastic part of the mag) is at the same level as the seven round mag.

  • my grandpa has a 22lr / mag that u screw a thing like a shotgun choke where u stick the bullets for 22lr or mag its a older gun i dont know the what the gun make is

  • @skateboy159 allot of old rifles had that when .22 WMR first came out I think they may have had problems with it though. Im not sure.

  • @workensmart yea i dont know to much about guns lol

  • @skateboy159 well for starters they are made from steel and wood and they shoot things called bullets. <-------- don't call me a smartass cuz I already know that lol.

  • @workensmart there is also a synthetic stock lol i know more about new guns then the old one what i was trying to say lol

  • this gun is tough. i got mine in 22 mag, and shot about 500 or 600 22 lr rounds through it because it was listed as a 22lr. also, i've gone for months without cleaning it, and it works fine. sorry i didnt clean it but i didnt have a 22 kit

  • @townsendrankin Does it say .22lr on the barrel? Because you can't shoot .22lr in a .22mag rifle. The chamber is larger and longer in size so the case would blowup and damage the rifle or throw shrapnull in your face or worse. Also the barrel it self has a slightly larger bore than the barrel of a .22lr rifle. Sorry but I can't believe your story unless you post a video of you shooting .22lr through a .22wmr rifle and not hurting or killing yourself in the process.

  • @workensmart i checked and it does say .22WMR, i never said it worked, one time it did throw something in my face that hurt like hell, and about every three shots the case would over expand and jam in the chamber. when i switched to a different ammo type, the bullets wouldnt even make it out of the barrel. i had to use a cleaning rod to get them out. im sorry if you dont believe me, because i dont have anything to post a video with, but i swear its true. i am actually that stupid

  • @townsendrankin Lol you should get your rifle checked out because I can almost guaranty that the chamber has some sort of damage and or stress crack. So when the day comes that you do use a .22wmr than you will run the risk of really hurting yourself .22wmr has amost twice the PSI of a .22lr.

  • @workensmart i've been using 22wmr for around 6 months and its worked fine, i didnt kno i cud kill myself though. thanks for telling me that i will definitely never do that again

  • @townsendrankin yeah man. Just stick to what round the rifle was designed to use. If you try that shit in a center fire rifle then I would say damn dude how the hell are you still alive lol. Some larger center fire rounds can reach 65,000 psi. While the little .22lr an .22wmr can reach 24,000 psi. .22wmr gets its power from a larger charger that burns slower and longer. But the max pressure is maintained for a longer period of time than that of a .22lr

  • @workensmart k, i will thanks

  • @TheGreatFlyFisher did you watch the whole video? I showed you how accurate it was at 100 yards. Its a very good rifle I have never had any problems with it and its got about 4,000 rounds through it. It not heavy at all maybe 6 pounds max with the scope.

  • @TheGreatFlyFisher yeah i watched the whole video i guess i just wasnt thinkin haha, but thanks

  • nice rifle man. what did you pay?

  • @ross0the0man mine was about $300

  • Great video man. I just picked up a new one today and had a cheapo simmons 4x32 scope put on it for now. I wanted an accurate bolt, and I wanted to keep my mod 60 open sights. did you Float the barrel, and have you seen the accuracy increase as youve gotten some rounds through it? I love the rifle already, it feels sold as a rock, and if its anything like my model 60, itll be a real tack driver

  • @oerllikon2 I haven't done a thing to it. That group I got was an out of the box rifle with a good scope on it that's it!!

The rifle is about the same as it was when I first got it. These are great rifles for the money.

  • I decided to repair it my self once I found the clips at the hardware store. I posted a video explaining the problem and the repair.

  • @Merkurio24 Very cool man I'll check it out.

  • @workensmart I think I will take it to my dealer. I had a similar problem with my beretta 21a and they shipped it to the manufacturer for me. I don't think marlin will sell any trigger related parts.

  • @Merkurio24 your right I looked at the parts break down of mine and they sell the trigger group as a whole part. Good luck with yours though I'm sure they will fix it. Did you go online when you bought it and fill out the warranty info so you get the five year warranty?

  • @workensmart I dont realy remember if I did send the warranty registration card but I now I never did for my beretta 21a and they got it fix anyway. I just called them and told me they can do the same for my Marlin 925. I will take it tomorrow so they can ship it soon.

  • It wasn't cased but I'm sure nothing bumped on to it. I took the stock off and found the problem. The pin holding the safety lever is missing it's securing washer and that's causing it to jiggle out of place.

  • @Merkurio24 So are you going to bring it to a gun smith or are you just going to call Marlin and order the parts you need? Sucks that happened to yours though.

  • @workensmart I got my rifle out of the closet today and as I was cleaning it I noticed the safety doesn't work. I haven't shot it in over 2 years and now I find it like this. :(

  • @Merkurio24 was it cased? did anything bumb into it when it was in there?

  • I own one of this rifles and the accuracy is very high. I can hit 12 gage shells at 50 yards with it! Lots of fun to shoot and you don't have to spend a lot to shoot all day.

  • @Merkurio24 hay man sounds great, These rifles are the best bang for your buck out there.

  • This Rifle is legit, the newer basic models come with a nicer stock then what ive seen online, a lot better than the one shown on this video. I just got mine about a month ago and have shot a couple hundred rounds. The accuracy is great i get 2inch groups off hand from about 50 yards i get about 1inch groups benched. Great rifle for a great price.

  • @ToSwoL40 Hay man the stock does not look t that bad. Put up a video of yours I would like to see what the new 925's look like. Mine was made in late 09 so the changes must have been recent.

  • @childofbodom185 Polymer trigger and trigger gaurd? The trigger and trigger gaurd on mine are metal. I know on the synthetic stock version the trigger gaurd is molded into the stock and the trigger should still be made of metal. Mine was made this year so maybe the older ones were polymer?

  • How much is your rifle? and scope?..what kind of ammo did u used for the target

  • @CharlieDoan The rifle was $165 and the scope was $140. I was using CCI Blazer bulk ammo.

  • Hey, nice rifle, does it have the swivel stud on it, didn't see it? I am planing on getting one, but want a bipod on it. Thanks

  • @bud481 yes it does come with swivel studs.

  • @bud481 It has a swivel stud in the back and one in the front. You can mount a bipod and sling on it at the same time but you need to find a bipod that has a sling mount.

  • HOW MUCH WAS IT

  • @spritrocks $165 plus tax.

  • @spritrocks $165 plus tax. Extra mags are $15 each and the scope bases were $15 the rings were $25. I've seen the price as high as $189 and as low as $150. But its a very nice rifle for the money.

  • Very nice rifle.

  • @tbeatles Thank you.
