  • Always wondered how that little slide G was done- thanks!! fun easy song

  • It's funny how a song of a 0:27 seconds have a lesson of 7:33

  • good explanation, thanks! I'll try to make it work now

  • what kind of guitar is that? it sounds beautiful. thanks for the video.

  • @meeshlaii i think its a Martin D-45

  • @Zamirys18 Mine's a D41, actually. Nearly identical to the 45.

  • Your guitar is not tuned

  • @ChocolateAndGuitar Mmm hmmm...

  • A seven minute tutorial for a 30 sec. song lol

  • how could anyone possibly dislike this ?

  • @roflmao791 They don't dislike the song. They dislike me. I don't lose any sleep over it.

  • do u have this in tablature?

  • @M000tube Sorry, I just play by ear.

  • thanks.

    do you own manny's music?

  • @M000tube Don't I wish...

  • TUNE YOUR GUITAR TO STANDARD TUNING BEFORE YOU GIVE A LESSON

  • Thanks for this. I learnt this in about 5 mins because you you :)

  • very nice interpretation of this one....I'll go have a bottle of wine now... :D

  • no te entendi ni m..

  • If this tutorial was in 3D, it would be even more awesome than it is already. I couldn't help blinking on the frequent occasions you suddenly push the fretboard towards the camera to helpfully illustrate the chords. I bet I would recoil off my seat if I saw it through 3D specs ;)

  • Thanks buddy. Appreciate it. Very helpful!

  • I get such a kick out of some of the idiotic comments by these butt-wipes who feel the need to point out the most ridiculous things. You play these songs beautifully, but some guy just has to point out "Hey dude, when you hit the hammer-on, you're actually playing a G 7th augmented diminished dominant suspended minor 7th. I'm not sure if Paul did it exactly that way."

    Classic!

  • Great lesson. Thanks very much!!!

  • Nice. Was a helpful vid man, quick n easy.

Only thing is that the chord you said was a G major (5th fret D string, 4th fret G, open B and high E) in the part where the lyric is "her majesty's a pretty nice girl, someday i'm gonna make her mine" is actually a G minor6 OR G diminished shape..

Paul slides up to the 5th fret D string and strums the 3rd fret on G and 5th fret on B together.

Just thought i'd point it out :P

  • Love all your lessons man, you should do more Paul McCartney finger picking songs. You are the only person who gives a good lesson on any of those songs.

  • THIS SONG IS HARDDDD!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kdizzzle123 Well, let's put it this way -- it's probably not the first song a guitar player should learn.

  • im planning on playing this on mothers day for my mom and thanks for helping me learn it

  • i love your guitar!!

    which model is?

  • great tutorial, thanks, i couldnt figure out the right hand pattern until i saw this video, you made it really clear to me, thanks again

  • @Luiguimet Same for me, i could figure out most of the chords, but had trouble with the right hand pattern. Thanks a lot!

  • Thank you for this. Your tutorials are so clear.

  • very nice lesson, now it comes down to practise thanks a lot

  • i didnt know what to do with my right hand, it confused me a tad :(

  • Not really sure what happened to my original comment, but I wanted to say thanks. I bought my first guitar in July, and you've been a big help in learning some of my favourite tunes. I'll reply soon with a video of my own.

  • @Concertanti Hmm. Not sure what happened to your other comment, either. I may have accidentally hit Delete instead of Reply. Glad to hear you're making progress on your playing. I love seeing video responses, so feel free to post some. Every guitar player at every level can always learn (steal?) a lick or two from another player.

  • @privettricker There, I posted my video.. I think anyways, it isn't showing up or anything ahaha.. It's still pretty rough, but I think I'm making good progress... I don't have any instructors so please let me know what you think.

  • I really would like to thank you, Chris. What you do is extremely useful for all the guitar players around the world. Been watching your channel for a while, due to your lessons I figured out how to play "Mother Nature's Son", "Junk" and many other songs. Keep your stuff coming, it surely will be much appreciated. From Russia with love!

  • Thats wicked any chance of a Jenny Wren lesson by Paul McCartney.

  • Excellent

  • Nice job and excellent tutorial for those unfamiliar with pauls style. He reall doesn't switch it around all that much for most of his stuff and you catch that. Very well done. Nice guitar also!

  • thanks

  • Thanks for the explain; and again, some of the nuances of Paul's style. Nice Manny's T. Had many a set-up done there.

  • Nice job. Thanks
