Actually Jeremy couldnt sing the last half of be Prepared vocal problems and Jim Cummings sung the rest at first I coyuldnt tell the diffrence it was so perfectly done but yeah I mean Jim cummings took lots of roles in animation which were at first not voiced by him so he had to get the voices hes not only a voice actor to me but a great impresionist I mean he nailed Winnie the Pooh tigger Jungle Books Kaa the chesire Cat in Alice in wonderland DVD he does a lot of voices

The same with me. I didn't even know Cummings had done any voicework as scar until it was pointed out in a Nostalgia Critic video. However, once I found out it was cummings that sang the second half, I could kind of tell. His voice has a certain sort of raspiness to it that's subtle, but unique enough for you to tell whenever he's voicing a character.

I heard it myself, the change. I didn't put my finger on it at first but eventually I realized Jim was doing the last part of it instead of Jeremy, then I heard it was because of Jeremy's smoking that Jim had to come finish the song for him. I was really proud of myself for hearing it...

Jim Cummings filled in for Jeremy Irons very briefly in Lion King (during 'Be Prepared' Jim says the line "you wouldn't get a sniff without me!"). Also the point of the video is Jim Cummings voiced the 'dream Scar' in LK2 before it turns into Kovu.

Jeremy Irons makes a great villain, as you may have seen in Die Hard With a Vengeance. I like him as Scar. Jim Cummings is great as well. His voice as Robotnik is by far the best, possibly even better than Deem Bristow.

Jim Cummings is an insanely talented voice actor. I'll admit, he might not be as perfect as the original, but few things are. It'd be better with Jeremy, I think he'll do fine as a substitute.

I know Jim Cummings did a lot of Scar's singing in Lion King 1, and the change in voice actors mid-song is noticeable (Be Prepared), but perhaps if I was ten years younger I wouldn't be compelled to pick voice acting stuff apart, and so probably wouldn't notice the difference. ;)

Corey Burton is by far a more talented voice actor. Much more versatile than Jim.
