@jmhall871 The flashing brake lights are intentional. They do that on track cars or during vehicle testing. You should look at Formula 1 Pace cars etc. They all do that. I have to research why they do that.
I hate every 911, why all Porsche models has to be 911's only? I thing we all want to see new platforms, like new 928, or 944´s, even a Panamera coupé, Why not?
@ipeze Ryan Dunn is the worst thing that ever happend to the GT3. The moral of the story is not that he was driving a GT3, but rather you should not drink and drive, It does not matter what car he was driving he could be in a truck, hitting a tree at 130 mph in what ever your driving will kill you.
swear on my life my uncle has one, just took me for a ride yesterday. His is green with black writing and it is the most exhilarating ride i've ever taken. The engine at idle is louder than anything you'll ever hear and the acceleration actually slams you back into the seat. It's a pricey car but after riding in one i could imagine it's worth the money.
i think this is the best porsche on the market, sounds great. but if i should buy a sportscar i would probably buy a Bentley continental GT or i don't know, this one. if we are talking muscle cars it's dodge charger or BMW m3.
in a year am gonna have to sell mine and go home to my country but there car are so expensive i prbly cant affort somthing this good so i prbly have to buy somthing cheap like a golf GTI.....i dont think i can ever say golf GTI is a fun car to drive after the gt3 rs.... T.T
@mtross70 Couldn't agree more. As much as I'm not a fan of American cars in general, I always believed that Z06 and GT3 RS are the best sport cars in the world. Obviously, for the money, the Vette is probably THE best.
the z06 is a little harsh on bad pavement but with a tire upgrade it is awesome. the gt3 has that attention to detail that the vette just doesnt have. both cars are visceral and for enthusiasts only. If one wants comfort and performance my advice would be to buy an m3 instead.

Obviously the GT3 is meant as a track day car just as much as it is a road car, but paying 20 grand extra just to go a tad faster around the track the few times a year, I'm kinda failing to see the point of this GT3 RS. Especially when you think of the now well established Carrera Cup (uk). A GT3 cup costs like 80k I think. If it's track fun you're looking for, then that would be the obvious choice if you ask me (of course racing cost, but I don't think 1 year in the CC would be more than 100k)

I've had a 997 GT2 and I just traded it for a new GT3 RS. The RS feels a lot lighter and it hits higher top speeds around the tracks than the GT2. It is more of a track car and when I had the GT2, i didn't even think about trading it. I traded it because of its value and now I know that even if the GT2 kept its value, I would still trade it.

@snipski0894 I have driven a Porsche (only once in my life) in a Carrera GT, reason why I said it needs more power is because the car looks deserving. Looking at how well the chassis is built, it needs more to justify it.

I have to agree with the comment that it's not about horsepower but overall balance and the GT3 RS is really all the car you need on the road.

There's a guy who can be seen a few times a week driving his GT3 RS, and it really does look very good in real life. It's not painted quite as wildly as this one here, but it does still have the checkered-flag motif on the side and it looks surprisingly good.

@halim181276 the 458 ITALIA, not F458, Is an absolute animal that will walk circles around your NISSAN gtr. It's not datsun anymore and hasn't been for a very, very long time. The GTR is amazing, but it is NOT on the same level as a 458 italia.
I'd take this over a GT2 RS. I know, you idiotic you-tubers are gonna say "WTF? The GT2 RS has more horsepower you idiot!" and you know what, you can't argue with this car's free revving greatness. I can't get over this thing's sound or its unbelievable engine. I really like the purity of this car as well; it fits well in my dream garage with the 458 Italia, Murcielago SV, SLS AMG, Quattroporte Sport GTS, '10 Callaway Camaro, Zonda Cinque, and CDC Flashback Mustang.
F458 can't even beat 2007 Datsun GTR in Nurburgring. The 2011 italia lap the Nurburgring in 7.38 exactly the same with 2007 Datsun GTR, and both driven by the same person, Horst Van Saurma.
The GT3RS Mk2 lap the Nurburgring 5 SECOND FASTER than the F458 italia, also driven by same person.

@snipski0894 I have driven a Porsche (only once in my life) in a Carrera GT, reason why I said it needs more power is because the car looks deserving. Looking at how well the chassis is built, it needs more to justify it.

@HateWhatISee 911's have never been about overpowering the competition (until recently) and always been about the driving expierence, lightness and feel. If this car is deserving of anything its less weight. Lightness > Power

@HateWhatISee I don't know.. my cousin has GT3 RS- the old version- and Carrera GT and I think the GT3 RS is a better balanced car. I don't like the Carrera GT at all. I have to agree with the comment that it's not about horsepower but overall balance and the GT3 RS is really all the car you need on the road.
Check my vids of my cousins other cars. GT3 RS is my favorite of all his...well the Enzo is nice but he won't let me drive it.

There's a guy who can be seen a few times a week driving his GT3 RS, and it really does look very good in real life. It's not painted quite as wildly as this one here, but it does still have the checkered-flag motif on the side and it looks surprisingly good.

this porsche for ex. was moded. So you can expect some very powerful and hauling sounds coming from it :)

@nickomfacc are you talking about the McLaren MP4-12C if you are then he'll yea that car is going to be THE most seriously good car, but it should not be compare with the 458 italia or the GT3rs, for it's performance it should be compare with a Porsche GT2rs or the none worth $400000 Lexus LFA or corvette ZR1...... Ether way the McLaren and 458I or GT3rs are by far worth they're price tag and are leader in car manufacture industry, with they're heritage, pedigree, technology......

It's not only the F458 can't beat the Datsun's lap time in Nurburgring, but the 911 GT3 RS Mk2 WAS 5 SECOND FASTER than the F458 in Nurburgring, and both cars were also driven by same person. It's a crap, really.

I'd take this over a GT2 RS. I know, you idiotic you-tubers are gonna say "WTF? The GT2 RS has more horsepower you idiot!" and you know what, you can't argue with this car's free revving greatness. I can't get over this thing's sound or its unbelievable engine. I really like the purity of this car as well; it fits well in my dream garage with the 458 Italia, Murcielago SV, SLS AMG, Quattroporte Sport GTS, '10 Callaway Camaro, Zonda Cinque, and CDC Flashback Mustang.

F458 can't even beat 2007 Datsun GTR in Nurburgring. The 2011 italia lap the Nurburgring in 7.38 exactly the same with 2007 Datsun GTR, and both driven by the same person, Horst Van Saurma.
The GT3RS Mk2 lap the Nurburgring 5 SECOND FASTER than the F458 italia, also driven by same person.
