Looks like there are no cables from the shoulder and facemount buttons then, all hardwired in the pcb :( dam, i wanted to wire a selector switch to change the shoulder button inputs to the face buttons for racing games. SOOOOOO uncomfortable to use the shoulder buttons for accelerator and brakes.

"front". that's the only thing that bugs me about this vid. in general terms, that's the top. as opposed to the bottom. but if you hold the controller in a comfortable position [arms essentially resting on legs while seated, face of controller facing predominantly towards the sky] then the wire on the classic controller, as purchased, comes out the front- facing you. and you'd like it to come out the back, towards the screen.

how did you decide to start using 'front' and 'back' for this?

I think it's sort of useless, for me at least, since I usually put the Wiimote next to me on the couch, and the wire on the Classic Controller doesn't bend, if it were to come out the top.

lol so what if it comes out the bottom? i think its better because i play with it, with the wii mote in my lab, so the wire comes up normal lol, they put other controllers wires up on top so it leads w/o giving off slack to the system, the bottom thing is how it should be, so leave it at that!

Nice mod... now can you turn the Classic Pad into a USB HID recognized device with it's own 6ft length of cord so it could be used with emulators like ZSNES? Cuz that would be bad ass.

Why the hell would you take it that far? It looks normal on it's own, but that means you need to bend it over so it goes back down to the WII REMOTE. So you really don't accomplish anything at all with this mod. It really just makes the Classic controller less practical.
