  • Makes me hungry for soft serve yogurt!

  • Must do

  • What would happen if you were to use 100% hydrogen peroxide? (the kind that is used for first aid and found at pharmacies).

  • it looks like guts!!

  • I like the the third one I wish we could do it at home.

  • Hello Science Bob!

I have a few questions. First, is the first foam experiment (the one in the bottle) steaming? I'd like to use this as a science project for school so I'd love to do this in front of my class. However, I'd have to keep it in a plastic bag so that our table does not get messy. Would my bag melt or burn if I did the first one?

Also, as I said before I'd like to use this in my science fair project. Can you think of a good question or purpose for this experiment?

    Thanks.

  • In doing this for my science project!!! :)

  • That was awesome!!!!

  • pls help, i have an science project to the next 2 days... it works mine but.... it have lots bubbles and i is not like a worm when it come out, it spread... its 1/2 cup but if my container is wrong, i dont have a bottle 16 ounce so i use water container (it is more hard done a soda bottle)

  • @XxXzeroXxXizm Sounds like you need more dish soap or a different kind of soap.

  • i will use this idea if my teacher ever asks us to do a volcano project ^_^

  • what thing did that women pour into the big one the yellow thing what is that ?????

  • is the smallest one okay to touch? or do you have to clean it with gloves

  • @eatmesoftly It is best to use gloves in case there is any unreacted hydrogen peroxide.

  • Now im not crazy so I'm gona step back here while you do it XD!!!

  • cool

  • AAAAAA lol awsome thats cool thats something people wanna see your hired lol i am just a fan lol :)

  • How big is that container

  • can you use any hair care shampoo?please anwser asap.plsss

anyone can anwser if they know the anwser.

  • @DarkLogic5000 It is not shampoo, it is hydrogen peroxide 20 volume. Hope that helps.

  • It looks like silly string. shrinks after a while

  • Is that the type of foam that hardens?

  • thumbs up if you thought that looked like silly string

  • Lol

  • Awesome!!!

  • An erlenmeyer flask omg!!!!!!!

  • i wanna do this....

but I'm not allowed -_- Dang parents

  • Do a bigger one, like world record large

  • This is cool

  • HA HA we idd this at school today

  • "Thats good television right there"

    It sure is Mr. Bob.

  • 2:57 "wow look at that bub--WAAAAHHHHHH"

  • THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME!

  • Show us how to make a Tesla Coil, that would me sick!

  • we did this in chem. good times. oh how I miss school

  • your awsome bob

  • Heh heh, I know exactly what I'm doing for my science project now...

  • i wish there was a television show like this

  • @SSG234 There was a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide (30%) and the others were 5% and 6%.

  • I have a question...

My science teacher is doing this expierment and she wants to know what measurments he used and what the calasytsis...if anyone can help me with this my whole class would really appreciate it!

    Thanks!!!

  • haha my class did this experiement..... so funny. only we had the 6% so it wasnt as good :(

  • wow ur cool man

  • WAAAAAAAHAHAAAAAA

  • wait, if the bubbles are full of oxygen, does that mean its flamable????

  • We need translation for such languages like Arabic

    Who can do it?

  • Whats the balanced equation for what's going on here?

  • Now that, is science!

  • @SSG234

It is 30 percent H2O2 which means that the hydrogen peroxide is more concentrated so the chemical reaction is bigger due to the high concentration.

  • What if you put on cap on it right before it foams? Explosion? Bomb?

  • I'm doing this for my science project :D

  • vsauce anyone?

  • Lol science bob?

  • Instant favourite

  • omg this video is funny

  • >.< i love this dude

  • strawberry ice cream! :3

  • strawberry ice cream!

  • thats good television right there

  • ScienceBob how did the foam in the other one like blow up and made such a big mess and what was in the bottle that made it blow up?

  • can u toach the foam

  • can u do this with 3 %

  • 2 questions 1 can u do this with 3 % 2 can u touch the foam thx bob luv ur vids :)

  • we did the last one at school and i can still remember my teacher's reaction cuz it has never gone that well.. isn't the foam a bleach?

  • does this work without food coloring

  • spiderman secret weapon! haha joke=.,=!"

  • What is the catalyst in the last one?

  • @LCPLgeek

Considering the colour, I'd say it's potassium iodide.

  • @LCPLgeek KI (Potassium Iodide).

  • we're doing this for our chemistry project. is it okay to use actual hydrogen peroxide instead of the hair product. and for the big one, did you put in karo as your catalyst? please answer this.

  • Wow! That was really amazing! :D

  • Now that is science !

  • BOB UR VIDEOS ARE FUNNY AND YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  • Thumbs up for tie-die Lab coat :p

  • What did she pour into the big flask? Was it a yeast & water solution like the other one?

  • @wickedqueenamanda Yes, I'm pretty sure it is.

  • wow

  • Looks like cotton candy.

  • this guy is such a maverick i love him

  • I need 100% hydrogen peroxide

  • cool

  • elephant toothpaste

  • I am doing this experiment at school!

  • what would happen if you put the cap back on when it starts foaming?

  • @bloodz97 If I'm correct. The Co2 builds up and has no room to expand and-...Just don't try it, please.

  • i did this as my science project && i wonn 1st place out of the whole school :D

  • Bobs the new bill

  • small intestine in a bottle everybody

  • neoeoow that is science!!

  • He looks like my science teacher

  • I want the coat...... I NEED THE COAT!!!

  • do you HAVE to have yeast?

  • woooahahahaoo... now THAT is science!!

  • looks like cotton candy

  • nerds can be badass sometimes

  • the 100% stuff, dear god, my science teacher was crazy enough to do it, lots of foam and steam to say the least.

  • i dunno who this guy is, but hees pretty coo

  • why cant you do the last one at home?

  • My high school chemistry class wants to re-create this experiment (the 30% one). Could you tell us what you poured into the flask?

  • Can you substitute hydrogen peroxide to something else?

I want to do this experiment, but I don't know where I can get a hydrogen peroxide in the UK? If so can someone tell me please?!

  • @Lerona122 No

  • is it hot? like safe to touch? i want to fill a swimming pool with that stuff hahaha

  • of all of the elephant toothpaste's i've seen, that one was the best for sure.

  • @courtkneepee yeah... the shot up to the ceiling was a nice effect.

  • Ooh how fun! :D

  • How does the yeast, a living organism, act as a catalyst in this reaction?

  • Awesome lab coat.

  • That is the biggest Erlenmeyer I've ever seen!

  • wow. this is cool!

  • Science Bob is best scientist!

  • Sheldon did this also!!

  • we did this in school :) the teacher made a mistake and used a little too concentrated hydrogen peroxide... the stain on the ceiling is still there xD

  • wht would happen if you where to seal the top of the bottle? would it exploded or simply die out after a while?

  • explodingly awesome

  • the 30% is the cool part :)

  • im doing this experiment for school

  • you can use it for a volcano

  • I did this with 12% :) Worked quite well :)

  • Where can i buy Dry yeast?

  • where can you get the "20 volume" hair thingy?!?

  • will the foam harden?

  • @charlieslilyflower yes it does

  • if you close the bottle while the reaction is occuring and wait 3 seconds and throw it, would it make an explosion?

  • does it dry and become hard ???

    please answer A.S.A.P

  • @0Tension sorry to say but no

  • @0Tension: for the first experiment No..

  • GIANT SILLY STRING!

  • by the second bottle is it also dry yeast that she poors into the bottle?

  • LOL!!! at 2:55 is my favorite!!! im 12 and im a big science kid lol im in 7th grade science but is in 6th grade... n_n

  • @cute11yearold hahha lol so am i ;)

  • I want to do this exp. for my school science month. Can I know what is the proportion of H2O2 and the catalyst used in order to get the foam 'fly' out from the bottle or just more vigorous result? This will be conducted under teacher's guidance~ And I need the vigorous result coz we gonna do this in front of quite number of students so need to have the strong effect. Please help ~~ Thanks

  • i would like to see it at more than 30 percent!!! :D

  • "Look at that, that's good television right there."

  • @sciencebob , is the foam poison if you taste it?

  • wait if it is filled with oxygen then this would light on fire... gonna try this outside.

  • Ummmm... stupid question, but can you touch the first experiment in this video directly?

  • where can you buy the 30 percent hydrogen peroxide pls reply. Help help....... HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :O

  • A potassium iodide catalysis instead of yeast would increase foam yields :D

  • Cool, a visualization of sething anti-matter comes to mind, even though it's not so.

  • if h2o2 has like h2o but with a little more oxygen wouldent it turn to h2o when u tak ethe oxygen out??

  • @BattleZone777 Yes, it becomes soapy water, and the bubbles are filled with the oxygen.

  • @ScienceBob

so it would be really bad with a flame

  • OH! CAN I DO THE BIG ERUPTION ONE IN SCHOOL FOR A SCIENCE EXPIRIMENT PLEASE PLEASE WRITE BACK!!!!!!!!! I WANNA DO THIS SOOOOOOOOO BADLY!!!!

    U ROCK BOB

    lol

  • does it actually work ?

  • is like a big ICEE !!!!!

  • do you need 3 quaters of a cup of hydrogen peroxide or can you put less with it have less foam

  • can you touch the foam?

  • @321beth321 I'm assuming you can touch the foam, because as you see some gets on his thumb and it doesn't really matter, but I'd ask him first because I'm no scientist.

  • I love Science because I am a Science GIRL!!!!!

  • I love Science because I am a Science GIRL!!

  • Would this foam go gard Can you use this type of foam to make sound proofing blocks?

  • pause right at 3:00

  • I was so excited to show everybody some big overflowing experiment and now I can only do that small one

  • safety 1st

  • It looks like strawberry icecream :-D

  • Could anyone tell me wich catalyst there's being used for the last, more "explosive" experiment? I really need to know, as I'm gonna use it in a science project at school, and need a little more shock-effect than a little bit overflow of foam. Answers is HIGHLY appreciated, thanks in advance.

  • how to make it please send me on : reem-_-1999@hotmail.com

  • elephant toothpaste!!!

  • wow. that so cool it looks like tooth paste XD

    like if u agree

  • The man is making me smile of How excited he is. He's so cute (in a teddy bear way) Lmfao.

  • haha i love the second :D it looks like toothpaste :D

  • 2:58 (insert perverted sentence here) lol that was awesome!!!!! i wish i could do it at home...i dont have the yeast bottle....any body have any suggestions as to what other substance i could use in replacement for yeast..or does it have to be yeast powder?

  • deep in december its nice to remember that... bobs still awesome!

  • Your videos are actually REALLY REALLY cool. Keep making these videos please :)

  • Would this be good for a science fair project?

  • isn't it aslo called elephent's tooth paste?

  • @xrwwsoccerx yes

  • wha!

  • It's funny because the foam in the thumbnail does look like an elephant :D

  • is it safe to touch????

  • Dude I Wish I could eat that

  • Can you touch the foam?

  • dam my house is a miss i did it at home when the guy said dont do at home

  • Sorry, I meant Potassiumiodide KI instead of KClO3 ( Potassiumchlorate ) xD

  • 30 % hydrogen peroxide, does it work with yeast??? less foam than 30 % H2O2 with KClO3 ??

  • why so angry pink thing? 3:07

  • would 3% work or no:]

  • @jimmathey212 3% hydrogen peroxide would work in the first experiment, but you would not get as much foam. Have fun!

  • @ScienceBob I just noticed that you used the same brands as in the Scientific Tuesdays Video! :D

  • I hope that this project will help me tomorrow

  • LOOKS LIKE INTESTINE IF U ASK ME

  • 1,2,3 kabooooom ( dead ) THE END
