I feel palpitation and also the feeling as if I was going to pass out, help, it's really bad. One time I was driving and then suddenly I felt short of breath and both my hands started feeling like "ants" crawling on them. I stopped my car in a safe place and walked back and forth like a moron. My mom had to pick me up. My weight is healthy, my heart is healthy yet I have been feeling this since I was a kid, one time I even went to the hospital, but doctors said I was fine.
Hi my name is Anna and i am 12 yrs old and have had Anxiety my whole life and panic attcks since 5th grade (i am in 7th now) and i also have been diognosed with ADD and ADHD and that is horriable tooo. I have been getting bettter but i still have severe panic attack disorder. I take 30 ML of prozac. My biggest fear EVER is throwing up and that is usually the reaspon for my panic. My simptoms when i have a panic attack is dizzines, shaking, fast heart beat, and sweating sometimes.
I happen to suffer from panic attack since summer. I gotta tell you I had the worst panic attack where i couldnt just stop shaking and my face would turn white. Its a horrible experience and still worry when my next one comes.
No you can not unless you have a underlying issue I've had panic disorder for 10 years and run support group for people with panic unless you freak out and hypervent. Then no you can not period its a medical fact
I'd trade any symptom, ANY SYMPTOM from panic attacks, anything other than the extreme nausea I have to deal with, which happens most of the time outside of the house and in public and occasionally late at night.
It's the worst feeling in the world imo.
Also nice taste in music, I don't know where I'd be without music, especially Tool.
you can pass out with anxiety attacks i have a few times not many, i asked my doctor why i passed out apparently ur body shuts down when ur really terrorfied, and its like an emergency shut off to prevent damage..
When dealing with this kind of mental disorder I think friendship is really important. Talking to people with the same issue can be really good. I suggest you all join different forums or join websites like Mapofmates.
I've had it since 2001, Also I have tourettes and adhd and im schizophrenic. I get by a lot easier now that im 18. When I was 10-12 It was horrible I was threatened that I would be put in a mental hospital. Now when I was 16 the biggest blow was lossing my dad to cancer. When I turned 17 things got a lot better.
I suffer from regular Panick Attacks and Anxiety it does feel like your chest is under pressure and I believe that my depression came from this I have seeked help and am on anti depressants but they need to uplifted as they are not working at the moment and the major cause is STRESS ...
People are trying to profit off of those who are suffering. I used to suffer from anxiety, panic, ocd and fear of death for years. Check out my channel to see how I got free and no longer bound to those chains. God bless
I had this and as usally i always take care of myself, i just told my self "let it kill me, if it can" wanted it to come, i tried to get it as often as possible, had it a couple of times and never again sens i started to think like that and many in my family have it..
I've had 3 or 4 panic attacks in the past 3 weeks. The first time, I seriously thought I was going to die. I couldn't even look my lover straight in the eye. Very scary, but since I learned what it was I've been able to calm myself down. I also have general anxiety disorder, and can get nervous and a tight chest for up to a week. :(
dont worry.. i've been suffering by panic attacks over 2 years.. almost everyday i had panic attacks.. i had also DR and DP.. u are not going isane.. you wont die.. you aren't the choosen one.. almost everyone has this problem in the world.. its not a disease.. its just a bad habbit that u should throw far away.. i was addicted to xanax and i wanna tell u everyone.. F U C K xanax.. antidepresant doesn't exists.. your best weapon is in your mind.. sorry for my language// good luck!
@20Mar1boro i know from expereince that it goes alot deeper mentally then just eating well and all of that bullshit. ITS A DISORDER not just anxiety you get before a presentation
@zz4r bullshit eh,,you are just ignorant to the truth,,i wasted 4 years of my life, the terror i went through.i wouldn't want anybody to suffer it.like i said, the simplist things are the cure, the things we all lack as we get older.your experience is the BULLSHIT lol,and so appears is your attitude to help.you carry on with your popping pill and breathing techniques etc.there is no need at all..
been there, done that, got the t shirt, then won without any of that,,,
I've been there and done it through the years, I use to freaked out real bad when i had a panic attack but over the years i was starting to control it. You just gotta keep your brain busy when you're in the panic mode, Trust me! There's chemical imbalanced in your brain that doesn't get enough the right cells and it causes panic attacks on some people, Turn the negatives into postives by focusing on your favorite hobby or something that you like to do. Try and see if it works out for you, 5/5!
@WVMale83 and what if you wake up in the middle of a panic attack? like going from a nightmare straight into a panic attack? when it feels like your still half asleep but yet awake and you have complete control over your movements but not over you thoughts.
when this shit happens to me i can rationalize as much as i want but it wont go over untill its over. no possible "mind trick" i ever tried helped me to get out of a "peaked" panic attack.
@BassBasherz Well that's when you get some help from the doctor, I've got some medcation for the axty/pas but i don't hardly take it because i know that i can control the main cause of it. I always have been in charge of the axty/pas because it's up to you to change the panic mode into a postive one, Well that's just me though. Everyone is different in their own way, ;)
6/20/11. In 2010 phreashmen year I had a panic attack in P.E. while I was running and ever since then I had a fear of anything that increased my breathing and heart rate which running causes. in 2011 I finally overcame this fear. about a month later after i have overcame this fear I had a panic attack alone in my house. Ever since then I'v had a fear of being alone and being around to many people. Today I wonder if this a panic disorder because it feels like a curse.
@zabimaru09 Me too! You really feel like there's something dangerous coming that wants to kill you, you have all the symptoms of a heart attack, you can't breathe and your rational thinking is completely gone. So for those who never experienced a panic attack (I had several panic attacks so I know what I'm talking about) it really sucks.
hey guys, I still suffer from anxiety but I have gotten over a lot. I used to have panic attacks every day, and I felt anxious at school, at my friend's, and even in my own home, I felt anxious 24/7 and my stomach was constantly in a knot. I've gotten so much better and if anyone needs help, feel free to message me! remember you're not alone and if you try, you can feel so much better. much love!
I have panic disorder I DONT agree"may pass out"this is IMPOSSIBLE unless you have a illness that causes your bloodpressure to drop unless you have another cause.blood pressure RAISES in a panic attack NOT lowers so there for you CANT passout panic attacks CANT last for days general anxiety can last for a day but a TRUE panic attack only last for up to an hour
@mrsleandrat SO TRUE, You will never pass out or faint during a panic attack or if you have an anxiety disorder. I myself are suffering from anxiety and every single book i've read and doctor/psychiatrist ive seen has confirmed that you will feel faint but you will not pass out or faint. I feel faint almost 80% of the day but I have never passed out ever in 2 years.
@mrsleandrat (1) No offense, but I suffer from severe panic disorder and derealism and you CAN pass out and I have. People pass out all of the time from heightened blood pressure. That's what gives people heart attacks and strokes. What happens during a severe panick attack is that the breathing becomed rapid and short.
@mrsleandrat (2) This makes one take in too much oxygen, or not enough. The body pulls oxygen from the hands and feet first, to aid the heart. If this happens for longer periods of time, you WILL pass out. Also, the fear of impending doom and and the fear of one dying during a severe panick attack can also make one pass out. I just got back from the ER for this. I've had it my whole life.
@WhateverWasLeft That's how my panic disorder started. I was stoned then had that scary sensation. Now I'm fully housebound living in fear of that vary sensation!
I just started having panic / anxiety a year ago... I'm trying to cure myself. I also just started a vlog, if anyone is interested, just posted it to my channel a few minutes ago.
@AherinMR don't spend your entire life hopeing it will go away....very likely it will not. You need to see your family doctor. He/she will likely refer you to a psychiatrist and or a therapist. The sooner you get help the better chance you will have of kicking it or controling it. Do not be embarassed to tell your doctor about this......doctors see stuff like this all the time. Panic Attacks are far more common than most people think. It only becomes a problem when it starts to rule your life
@AherinMR for many, just going to a psychiatrist who will prescribe medication is not good enough. I have been to many shrinks and all they do is write a prescription.....where as a psycholigist will teach you tools to work through the panic episodes...like desensitization and setting small goals, Other than the medication received from psychiatrists I have found them a total waste of time....but they own you because they are the ones prescribing the drugs
@bagelman567 Doubt a retard like you knows what PTSD is, but never-mind. Learn about these types of disorders before you mock them, because you look like a pussie compared to people who suffer from it.
@bagelman567 Not really, I suppose calling you a retard was pointless, its just a shame people thin panic attacks=`faggots` when they don't know what they are talking about. Are u mad?
first one is the worst one cause you don't know what the fuck is going on , actually knowing it now makes it abit easier to handle them but they still are " a walk through hell " i fuckin hate when people don't understand the tensity of it and act like: calm down man ! yeah you try to fuckin calm down when your soul and mind is literally being grilled on fire ! stupid fucks ! ....
Is vertigo usual for panic disorder? I mean that is there somebody who suffer from panic disorder but has sudden vertigo for seconds sometimes? And i feel that annoing feeling of fullness in the ears with ringing at the morning...:((
@BlackJackm82 Vertigo is a symptom of stress and increased anxiety. As are migraines and head aches, tightness in the head and neck and back. All of these new and strange bodily sensations can cause an anxious person to panic. I had a bout of panic attacks and I got over it. There is one way to overcome it easily and to even draw strength from it. PM me if you want to know how and I will tell you how I did it.
I don't have a panic disorder. I get panic attacks only when something EXTREME happens. Or if I get REALLY upset. After I cry if I'm upset I fall asleep and I have a panic attack. I relize it and I can't open my eyes.
I have had severe panic attacks for 20 years untill I have discovered the books of a late Australian Doctor CLAIRE WEEKES which in fact saved my life.I read all her 5 books and PRACTICE everyday all her recommendation and i am now CURED.
I watched old movie "CADDYSHACK" for 1st time yesterday and theres this joke in the movie that i bet went over most people's heads: All the caddys are havin an employee meeting and the boss comes in and goes "oh, by the way, one of the caddys coundnt make it today. He unfornately died yesterday from a massive anxiety attack" lol
I developed a serious case of panic disorder as a result of being abused as a child for years by more than one person. I'm on disability now and things are better, but all I can say is I want my life back. I also have serious depression.
Thanks for sharing good to know iam not alone or going crazy ive been going thru this since october 2005 and w/o medical treatment i overcame them reading books on them etc, they just went away now sadly 5 years nearly to the day they began they are back again, ive had very mild ones but now they are back strong like 2005-2007. Some people tell me avoid artificla sweetners they aggravate them, so iam trying that now, tried saint johnwort its ok works ok,.some days its so hard to cope.
Aside from breathing the best way to overcome this is to seek out a therapist that specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy and exposure response prevention. CBT and ERP for short. Those therapies combined with breathing retraining saved my life.
@fromgiltolast Try deep breathing excersizes on a daily basis. The key is to train the body to breath like a non-anxious body. Lay down with your hands on your belly and breath into the stomach (not the chest) feel your hands rise. 3 seconds in through the nose and 5 seconds out through your mouth, nice and slow and even. It may not feel comfortable at first but persist. Do this for five minutes four times a day. This will retrain your body to breath correctly keep it up and it will work
Guys, try the Art of Living course happening in 140 countries now. Just 6 days might change ur life forever...for the better! Its got a very high success rate, its natural & cost effective. Check online for info abt when its happening near u.
Please go to my channel and see my testimony. I used to suffer from anxiety, panic attacks and agarophobia. I have been set free for over 5 years. No meds, no "panic away" or "linden method". You can be set free too and it won't cost you a dime. GOD bless you all.
The first few times you experience panic disorder are the scariest times in your life. It really feels like you are dying. It feels like your soul is trying to escape your body. After awhile you recognize that strange feeling and practice some kind of relaxation ritual until it passes. I stand over my sink, splash cold water on my face and tell myself I'm not dying. It's just in my head. I imagine I'm caught in a riptide and my body will bob to the surface if I just relax and don't fight it.
i have a panic disorder from smoking weed, and my panic attacks would be so bad i would have to take valium all the time. The worst symptoms for me are the depersonilzation, and the feeling that you're going insane or that your life is some crazy hallucination or dream. I went into a deep depression and was doubting and questioning every aspect of life. now im on zoloft, and things are so much better. has any one else experienced these things ?
@charliebarleyrulz Anti-psychotic drugs and depressants like valium and alcohol just make it worse. You need to ween yourself off those crutches. See a doctor before you do. I've experienced all your symptoms. I know firsthand the feelings of alienation and feeling like you are completely alone in the world. At one point I put a loaded .45 against my temple. You are not alone. You have to fixate on things you love instead of things that freak you out. Best wishes.
Please check out my channel. I used to suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, ocd and agarophobia. I no longer suffer or go through any of it. I have my testimony on how I overcame it all in "my uploads" section on my channel. Please see it...you can be saved from it with no meds, no paying for any "techinique" or paying for anything. It's not a sales strategy...it's my true story. Love you all.
I thought I would state that I recently had panic attack due to me thinking that a minor staph infection in my finger had spread through my bloodstream. What kicked the attack off was when I sat down and googled staph infection with my heart already racing and reading that a staph infection can get to your lungs and heart. Unfortunately by this time, my heart was racing and I started feeling pain in my lungs and chest. I called 911. Doc told me panic attack. 3 days later meditation which helps.
Check out my testimony on my channel. I suffered with extreme anxiety, panic attacks and ocd for 7 years. I have been set free, completely, literally made brand new, it's been over 5 years now. I am not a company, just a woman who has been set free and telling as many as possible. Love you all.
does anyone else feel as though granite replaced everything in your chest? i had this happen for 6.5 hours it wasn't fun. mine come without any warning and after its awhile of having them it actually became annoying because i feel like im not able to do anything. anyone have any suggestions
It's not possible to pass out from a panic attack... to pass out, your body has to slow down too much, with panic attacks your body is going going going.....
is it possible to feel the symptoms for days sometimes? like the chest pains and body aches and blank mind dizziness? without having a full panic attack? plz respond.
@fromgiltolast yes, I have been dizzy, and short of breath, with chest pains and depersonalization for YEARS on end. Full blown panic with only last 1-30 minutes or so, but anxiety can last forever if left untreated.
whats the proper way to treat panic disorder? ive been diagnosed and ive managed to overcome all symptoms but shortness of breath. any advice? plz respond
I used to suffer BIG TIME with this crap! I have been completely delivered from anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, ocd and much more for over 5 years now. No it's not a, "you gotta pay something" nonsense. I want to tell as many people as I can because I am completely healed of it all without having to a pay cent! try this it really helps..listen to this..i suffer anxiety even now but the good news is i can control it now...we are 19million sufferers were not alone...
I'm so edgy right now, I'm on youtube looking ways to handle my anxiety. I feel pathetic. I feel like I'm on the brink of another fucking attack. I don't go to sleep at night until I pretty much pass out because I'm too scared to just fall asleep. I'm constantly worrying over everything. I don't like even going out so much anymore because I feel like something will happen to me and I'll be too far away from a hospital. I think too much for my own good. :(
@KillHannahx I feel the exact same way. Try looking at panic away - you can sign up for free emails and techniques to help, as well as purchase the program which is almost guaranteed to 'cure' your anxiety/panic attacks

It's kind of hard to describe...I'll suddenly feel dizzy and disconnected from reality, like I'm not sure I'm actually living each day here. Then when it doesn't go away for days, like right now, I feel like screaming and throwing a fit because I'm afraid I'll have to live like this forever.
@neoninagirl And it's another fucked up thing, that females are 3 times more likely to have this condition then males. Did it say that in the vid? I didn't even watch it. But yeah.
@neoninagirl Yeah, it does. I actually almost got one, nearly 2 hours ago. Some how I managed to shake it off. It was a hot, humid night, my head was throbbing, thats useally when i get them. Then, of coarse, other situations and garbage. Suiside during attack, fuck yeah lol, alllll the time. Who doesn't wanna cap themselves when there in shock like that, it's some scary shit.

I'm scared, I've been feeling like this for a month. Trying to get treatment, it's a very slow process... Each day feels like an eternity, it is panic 24/7
After dealing with panic attacks for many years, I have never have seen a person " pass out" because of having one. People who suffer from panic attacks are very suggestible, telling them that they may "pass out" does a disservice.
@flordeldesierto1 same here, my family doesnt take this very seriously at all. they say i look fine, but that is just the outside. it's on the inside where it really bothers me and hurts and drives me crazy
@flordeldesierto1 i often feel that way to i been dealing with gad since i was 7 im 19 now and its horrible i cant really talk to anyone about this no one really listens =/
@kgaray09 , you have to see someone about your problem......you need to see your regular family doctor first and go from there. Doctors are very familiar with this type of problem so don't seel embarassed. You need to tell the doctor that you have had this for 12 years and it's ruined your life. Of course for people in my country The USA, there is the matter of cost.......if you can't affort health insurance you are out of luck
@flordeldesierto1 IF I can help you in some way i ve been in treatment for ten years, medication is really important and your family may need counseling also.
I have suffered with panic attacks for 15 years and all the counseling, medication and books I have purchased within the 15 years just masked the fear, never eliminated it for good. The only program that has given me long term success was Barry Joe McDonaghs Panic Away program. Thank you so much Barry for changing my life. My 15 year battle with panic attacks is now a thing of the past. Click on my channel mypanicaway for details.
@KaiserVadin i am so scared of fainting or blacking out, the scariest thing ever. I get very disoriented, almost like im disconnected with my body. Does that make sense? I feel like no one feels the way i do sometimes :(
@MMTroxy Very normal. I had one nocternal panic attack one time, and I had this very.... very... very... sick image. Very discusting gory image. And it kept repeating it's self. I thought I was litterally in hell. And the woman that was bitching at me wasn't helping much!
interesting video indeed.i'm not sure if I have panic disorder or anything but ever since the year 2007 I have been going through some pretty weird stuff like with numbness etc etc. My mom gets panic attacks ever so often but they are not severe as far as i'm concerned. thanks for posting the video
panic attack is not your enemy real enemy is much worse its your ego, thought that panic attack is worst thing in the world its your enemy not a panic attack itself, its hard to overcome this but it is possible, and cure is love to all
yea panic attack is coming from fear having another panic attack, but you must realize and feel that your life will never end with panic attacks, when it comes saying i gona break you fucking loser i gona destroy your happiness see your heart is alreaddy racing iam coming to get you,you must say ok come i love you i will love me how am i,your coming by gods will, thx god that you exist but i gona get rid of you and i will work every day thats a little discussion with panic attack.
This video is educational but also a little bit dramatic.
I developed panic disorder last summer and it was pretty terrible. However, I recovered from it and now my life is back to normal again. Get help from a therapist or psychiatrist familiar with the disorder, stick with the program, and you'll recover!
I'm a guy. I have panic disorder. I'm 16. I've probabbly had a reg panic attack during the day about 4-50 or so times. As far as nocternal panic attacks, (whitch are worse in my opinion) I may've had about 30-40
@MRszwajkowski me too, it's nice knowing that i'm not alone. sometimes i feel like no one knows what is wrong with me and i'm never going to get better.
@MMTroxy I'm grateful I havn't had any recently, extream axaity still lives on, and social phobia lives. But... well, we're fucked up, the 1% that have this shit. But, you know, in my opinion, we're the strongest peaple in the United states, because we overcome these fucked up moments. These panic attacks are like monsters that... fukken there just fucked up monster things that fuck with us. But over the years, I've just relized it's helped me in the long run of life.
@MRszwajkowski :( i feel so sad from all of this. as if i'm never going to go back to how i was before i started having panic attacks. my life is going downhill very fast. i can't tell you how scared i am from all of this...
@MMTroxy Because of this and social phobia related shit, I missed over a 110 days of school during my 8th grade year of middle school. After that, and after i stayed back, and after a year and a half from when it began, I never changed back to the person I once was. I quieter, I'm more aggressive, and I'm a negative motivator. All in all, the expereince has helped me. As do I beleive it is doing for you.
@MRszwajkowski in 6th grade..im now entering 10th grade..i had a huge depression with massive panick attacks..and i missed around the same days of schoo as you..people strated wondering what was wrong and i lost a lot fo friends..im okay now.i need to take pills everyday and i sometimes re lapse..usually during the summers when theres not much to do and my brain starts thinking about stuff..i feel relieved im not alone and u went through this also..best of luck from mexico :)
@dijixi I used to suffer BIG TIME with this crap! I have been completely delivered from anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, ocd and much more for over 5 years now. Thanx for uploadin this video! I`m an anxiety patient... the time when i was goin thru this video i was havin panick attacks but the song which was runnin on this video made me feel good!!! :) Plz someone tell me who`s track is it?
Those are the statistics?!?! I GOT FUCKING BONED! women are three times more likely and only 1.7 percent of americans suffer? Im a guy with aggoraphobia so bad that if I go anywhere near people I have a panic attack or go straight into a disociative seizure (basically my brain pulls me out of the situation so I dont have to experience it and I dont understand whats going on around me!)!!! wtf! I cant leave my fucking house! Why damnit?! * nothing towards you though, the stats just pissed me off.
wow anaprince im sorry :( i have panic disorder as well i can go outside now but i can still get really scared and my chest will hurt a lot still at the instant of a negative thought :(
So that's what that's called! I think I've had dissociated seizure's before too. They suck I was in a crowd of people and had a panic/anxiety attack and i got all wobbly tried to put my arms on ppl to catch me but they just moved away and I fell down and couldn't hear anything and things were going dark. :/
The stats are no reason to get pissed, it just means three times as many women suffer from it than men, not that your feminine or anything else. More women suffer from it than men because of certain different causes that affect women more often. Men may have the same causes as a woman, but men typically get panic disorder differently. Look on the bright side, panic disorder is curable! You can get to the point where you'll never have a problem again!
I've had panic attacks, depression, social phobia, and ocd for 16 years. That was in 1994. I'm 35 now and I've just about given up that I can be helped. I don't want to live the rest of my life with it either. I'm sick of it and I can't take anymore it.
what you means by give up? give up is suicide for myself, but panic attacks are fears, fear is something that you want to do and you cant,so you will start to overcome it,for me you cant give up in social phobia,1 day you start to work and overcome it cause your get bored:)

WVMale83 7 months ago
@WVMale83 and what if you wake up in the middle of a panic attack? like going from a nightmare straight into a panic attack? when it feels like your still half asleep but yet awake and you have complete control over your movements but not over you thoughts.
when this shit happens to me i can rationalize as much as i want but it wont go over untill its over. no possible "mind trick" i ever tried helped me to get out of a "peaked" panic attack.
so if you know a way please tell me :>

@BassBasherz Well that's when you get some help from the doctor, I've got some medcation for the axty/pas but i don't hardly take it because i know that i can control the main cause of it.

I have panic disorder I DONT agree"may pass out"this is IMPOSSIBLE unless you have a illness that causes your bloodpressure to drop unless you have another cause.blood pressure RAISES in a panic attack NOT lowers so there for you CANT passout panic attacks CANT last for days general anxiety can last for a day but a TRUE panic attack only last for up to an hour
mrsleandrat 9 months ago 12
@mrsleandrat SO TRUE, You will never pass out or faint during a panic attack or if you have an anxiety disorder. I myself are suffering from anxiety and every single book i've read and doctor/psychiatrist ive seen has confirmed that you will feel faint but you will not pass out or faint. I feel faint almost 80% of the day but I have never passed out ever in 2 years.
jacothefirst 6 months ago
@mrsleandrat (1) No offense, but I suffer from severe panic disorder and derealism and you CAN pass out and I have. People pass out all of the time from heightened blood pressure. That's what gives people heart attacks and strokes. What happens during a severe panick attack is that the breathing becomed rapid and short.
LadyZeppelin1960 1 month ago
@mrsleandrat (2) This makes one take in too much oxygen, or not enough. The body pulls oxygen from the hands and feet first, to aid the heart. If this happens for longer periods of time, you WILL pass out. Also, the fear of impending doom and and the fear of one dying during a severe panick attack can also make one pass out. I just got back from the ER for this. I've had it my whole life.
LadyZeppelin1960 1 month ago

AherinMR 11 months ago
@AherinMR don't spend your entire life hopeing it will go away....very likely it will not. You need to see your family doctor. He/she will likely refer you to a psychiatrist and or a therapist. The sooner you get help the better chance you will have of kicking it or controling it. Do not be embarassed to tell your doctor about this......doctors see stuff like this all the time. Panic Attacks are far more common than most people think. It only becomes a problem when it starts to rule your life

AherinMR 11 months ago
@AherinMR for many, just going to a psychiatrist who will prescribe medication is not good enough. I have been to many shrinks and all they do is write a prescription.....where as a psycholigist will teach you tools to work through the panic episodes...like desensitization and setting small goals, Other than the medication received from psychiatrists I have found them a total waste of time....but they own you because they are the ones prescribing the drugs

BlackJackm82 1 year ago
@BlackJackm82 Vertigo is a symptom of stress and increased anxiety. As are migraines and head aches, tightness in the head and neck and back. All of these new and strange bodily sensations can cause an anxious person to panic. I had a bout of panic attacks and I got over it. There is one way to overcome it easily and to even draw strength from it. PM me if you want to know how and I will tell you how I did it.

Those therapies combined with breathing retraining saved my life.
pinkdylan1983 1 year ago
@fromgiltolast Try deep breathing excersizes on a daily basis. The key is to train the body to breath like a non-anxious body. Lay down with your hands on your belly and breath into the stomach (not the chest) feel your hands rise. 3 seconds in through the nose and 5 seconds out through your mouth, nice and slow and even. It may not feel comfortable at first but persist. Do this for five minutes four times a day. This will retrain your body to breath correctly keep it up and it will work

I went into a deep depression and was doubting and questioning every aspect of life. now im on zoloft, and things are so much better. has any one else experienced these things ?
charliebarleyrulz 1 year ago
@charliebarleyrulz Anti-psychotic drugs and depressants like valium and alcohol just make it worse. You need to ween yourself off those crutches. See a doctor before you do. I've experienced all your symptoms. I know firsthand the feelings of alienation and feeling like you are completely alone in the world. At one point I put a loaded .45 against my temple. You are not alone. You have to fixate on things you love instead of things that freak you out. Best wishes.

@flordeldesierto1 i often feel that way to i been dealing with gad since i was 7 im 19 now and its horrible i cant really talk to anyone about this no one really listens =/
kgaray09 1 year ago
@kgaray09 , you have to see someone about your problem......you need to see your regular family doctor first and go from there. Doctors are very familiar with this type of problem so don't seel embarassed. You need to tell the doctor that you have had this for 12 years and it's ruined your life. Of course for people in my country The USA, there is the matter of cost.......if you can't affort health insurance you are out of luck

mortdepeur13 1 year ago

MMTroxy 1 year ago
@MMTroxy Because of this and social phobia related shit, I missed over a 110 days of school during my 8th grade year of middle school. After that, and after i stayed back, and after a year and a half from when it began, I never changed back to the person I once was. I quieter, I'm more aggressive, and I'm a negative motivator. All in all, the expereince has helped me. As do I beleive it is doing for you.

Anaprince 1 year ago
wow anaprince im sorry :( i have panic disorder as well i can go outside now but i can still get really scared and my chest will hurt a lot still at the instant of a negative thought :(
So that's what that's called! I think I've had dissociated seizure's before too. They suck I was in a crowd of people and had a panic/anxiety attack and i got all wobbly tried to put my arms on ppl to catch me but they just moved away and I fell down and couldn't hear anything and things were going dark. :/
CryoKeen 1 year ago
The stats are no reason to get pissed, it just means three times as many women suffer from it than men, not that your feminine or anything else. More women suffer from it than men because of certain different causes that affect women more often. Men may have the same causes as a woman, but men typically get panic disorder differently. Look on the bright side, panic disorder is curable! You can get to the point where you'll never have a problem again!
eldermadsen 1 year ago
@eldermadsen I know that, what pissed me off was the fact that it affects fewer men and I just so happen to be one of them.
Anaprince 1 year ago
I've had panic attacks, depression, social phobia, and ocd for 16 years. That was in 1994. I'm 35 now and I've just about given up that I can be helped. I don't want to live the rest of my life with it either. I'm sick of it and I can't take anymore it.
HellFireKane 1 year ago
You can be helped, don't give up! I know, easier said than done. But it CAN be cured!
eldermadsen 1 year ago
what you means by give up? give up is suicide for myself, but panic attacks are fears, fear is something that you want to do and you cant,so you will start to overcome it,for me you cant give up in social phobia,1 day you start to work and overcome it cause your get bored:)
