this film broke my heart, he is so fragile in this.....his madness and loneliness of his addiction is portrayed in a very subtle way.... he is a beautiful man and suits this role perfectly.

its not over dramatized, just this constant air of sadness that surrounds him.

Brilliant movie....different to a lot of other drug films.

They kinda overdid it with the hipster thing and picking up all these women at random. Other than that it was totally believable. This guy has that rarest of qualities. He's an actor. Not a movie star. Like Leo, he has these eyes with which he could act in a silent movie. Very expressive.
