I am not familiar with the Behringer unit. I would only recommend researching both and trying to make a educated decision. I can say that we have sold lots of this product and had very positive feedback. We use it in our store and really like it. The software is also very easy to understand and operate, for what its worth.

When i plug my guitar into the stealthplug and open Amplitube it just starts screaming, and i can only hear my clean guitar through the headphones. Can anyone help me?
When I plug in my guitar and headphone in stealthplug and plug it in my comp, amplitube just doesn't do anything with my sound. I get a clean standard sound and no matter how I change my settings, the sound stays the same. Also the tuner, volume, etc doesn't have any effect. It's working though, e.g. the feedbk pedal etc all make sound, but I hear it trough my speakers, not my headphone.

I got this last year and really like it,except you have to have a fairly hot computer to handle the software load... the guitar, the backing track and recorder all at once. If i run just amplitude, it's great. if i add a backing track to speed learner, i get some distortion. I can't record the guitar and backing track till i get a full duplex sound card.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble. I can only recommend that you return to where you purchased for assistance. There are many many possible problems you could be experiencing and the only way to trouble shoot it is to do it in person while looking at your computer. Hopefully the people who sold it to you can provide such assistance. Good Luck..
i bought it too an had trouble , i gave up .. discarded the stealth plug an give n up recording throu frustratuon i had thought of getting an trying another but maybe that wont work either , its shame as i would like to have had some fun recording , but im ore of song writer than composer so maybe just stick to what im good at lol
Too bad it didn't work well for you. Computers have a host of problems. I would have suggested taking your computer and stealth plug to where you purchased it and had them help you get it going. We have sold many of them and had essentially no problems getting them to work properly.
Hi, I'm sorry but this video was meant to be educational in a general sense. Our store provides tech support to customers who have purchases products from us only. We do not offer tech support via YouTube. I would suggest consulting the store that you purchased your Stealth Plug from.
You can set up your sequencing/recording software (eg. Cubase, Sonar) to record the sound that is played into your Computer through the Stealth Plug. Once you've set up your software to do this, it really is simple.
If you have no recording software there are free ones available on the net, Kristal Audio Engine being on of them, but I'm sure there'll be better ones out there as well.

I would recommend that you see the store that you purchased it from for assistance. Our store sells many of these units and rarely have any trouble with them.

Any headsets that can plug into your audio device will work fine. The better the quality of them the better it will sound.
