  • Didn't like it.

  • I made this dish tonight over saffron yellow long grain rice. The whole family loved it! I've also made some of your other dishes in the past which also turned out great. Thanks for sharing the recipes. Keep them coming.

  • @kiborum : Thank you for your feedback and glad you enjoyed the dish :)

  • was a torture to watch...you both.

  • it looks so good and I love all the spices you use. I read they are very healthy too especially turmeric.

  • me and my gf going out to buy ingredients hope we ll find all cuz we in UK and also hope my gf cn learn it cuz shes english

  • Anuja you look great in this video. I like the blue dress its very pretty. The recipe looks yummy too. I cant wait to start preparing meatball curry : )

You guys always do a great job. Kuddos!!

  • @280ji : Thank you :D

  • if i use evaporated milk instead of yoghurt next time would that work? i made it tonight and i still got tiny peices of yoghurt that didnt change the taste but made the texture a little grainy. would that work just as well?

  • @ewpoir

You could but the taste will change. The curry will lose its tangy yogurt flavor.

  • quick question - does beef cook the same way too? as in, will not frying it be sufficient for the meat to be done? thanks.

  • Great Job ladies! never tried kofta without frying them, this is a great recipe! keep it up :)

  • Anuja really really tested my patience in this video ....seems she forgets what she was about to say...

  • just tried this recipe tonight and it turned out great! I made a few of my variations.. I added uncooked onions to the meatballs and i actually cooked the meatballs by baking them in the oven at 350 for 20 mins and found that worked really well!

  • @partychik4life

    Great variations!

  • Lol. Anuja is so sloooow

  • I tried it yesterday,it came out really creamy and yummy....i dint add the tomato paste, still it had a great color.Thank you so much.

  • ummm if the curry is on a rapid boil and it is covered for 20 minutes, isn't it a very very high chance that the chicken is overcooked? I don't really like to eat overcooked meat :(

  • @EckoOwnage : Well, you want to make sure that the chicken is cooked right to the middle and since it is not direct heat (the gravy is cooking the chicken) it takes a little longer. The chicken will not be overcooked - no worries :)

  • Wonderful recipe!! Thanks from Italy!!

  • hetal is better off on her own!

  • after i watched this i wanted to kick anuja in the head

hetal would be better off on her own

  • I agree the best way to mix your meat is with your left hand. Otherwise not as hard with the right.

  • do u know any jackfruit seeds curry.Got some frozen one.Dont know what to make.thanks

  • @sunayverma

We have some jackfruit recipes coming up (seed and all, though).

  • @ShowMeTheCurry I've always had a love both Indian(baja) dishes lol! and Creole dishes because of the blended spices that goes in the food!! Gosh you guys make me soooooo hungry!!

  • looks really good...

  • Sounds nice! But I am a vegetarian. Its always nice to watch you guys cook, i bet the recipe tastes nice. i bet my mom would enjoy this, thanks for the recipe. (=

Maybe you can make some easy vegetarian recipes for those of us who don't eat meat. And maybe use more ingredients that can be found in a regular supermarket, some of my friends aren't familiar with indian spices.

Thanks! Keep up the great work.

  • @imatrini4life You can probably use veggie/soy meatballs

  • @imatrini4life

We have lots of vegetarian recipes. Please see our youtube channel or our website ShowMeTheCurry (dot) com. Unfortunately, Indian food cannot be made without some of the basic spices. You can find some of them in your local supermarket (in the spice aisle) or if you have an Indian grocery store nearby, you can find all of them in one shot.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry thank you .

  • ammmm no need to fry chicken ????

  • @toofar2go1

Traditionally, the koftas are fried but we are skipping the step for a healthier meal.

  • Wow! Hot. . . .and I'm not talking about the stove!

  • what a coincidence! I had some minced turkey meat out and was thinking of making a kofta curry :) Thanks for the recipe!! Chappathi and kofta curry for dinner tonight..yumm

  • Those look soooo goood. I think I may put that in this weeks dinner menu. I tend to cheat with the gooey things and use a glove to mix and form ball/patties. I hate getting it under my nails. (I know OCD) I also have different size scoops for making meatballs with.

  • Ill be trying this really soon though I might fry the chicken balls first.

  • thanks for the recipe it looks very delicious

  • You're both sooo amazing! <3 love the recipe!

  • tnQ
