Yes it is.... Nathan Fillion (Reynolds), Alan Tudyk (Wash), and Adam Baldwin (Jayne) are in it... and it looks like Bungie modelled the faces of the voice actors for inclusion (1:22). IU wasn't at all excited about ODST until I saw this video. Now I can't wait.

Probably because it fits in the storyline that there are a few units still scattered about the city. Remember that this is after Halo 2 but before Halo 3, so theoretically some of the units that the Chief was supposed to help may still be in New Mombassa.

Because New Mombassa still had Marines, and security forces on the ground when the ODST arrived. In some of the sneak peek game footage, you see one of the ODST's you play as, Dutch, rigging a bridge with Mickey and other Marines trying to hold back the Covenant.

This game is going to kick ass. firefight will be a nice welcome change to the halo 3 multiplayer. kinda sick of MLG variants and the story mode... well i can only play the whole story (all 3 games) so much before i get bored. with this though, it will kick ass. Halo 1,2,ODST,3... it will be like a movie.

uhm the red plasma rifles (brute plasma rifles)where presented in halo 2, and yes they are different, they fire twice as fast as the normal plasma rifle but ofcourse that also makes it overheat twice as fast, but if your aim is steady enough it kills a spartan in multiplayer in less than 3 seconds

No, there is actually a difference, the brute plasma rifle has a faster firing rate, but it over heats much more quickly because of that, and it's red. The BR is being replaced by that black pistol you saw that killed the brute with the red plasma rifle. I think it looks cooler. I'm gonna miss the BR though.
