The thing is, this is not real life but a television show. There is no reason to actually kill and eat a goat for some experiment like this. I am a vegetarian, but I would eat what I had to survive in a REAL situation ... not a fake one.

This show is about people surviving a scenario and to be as realistic as possible, I for one would keep the goats alive in order for the milk and calcium but if it came to the point where they had to live off the damn meat then I say kill it! The means of survival isn't through empathy its through logic and instinct the deadly combination that got us to the point where we are now.
