I am 26 with a 5 yr old and I went thru all of this. My father was in the home but not in the home. And people fail to realize how important it is to have communication in the home with your child. And also having a father their to show a daughter the way and make her treasure her body and herself then teen pregnacy would be so low. I made so many mistakes and am still dealing with the pain. Im growing and God and I will make sure my daughter will know Christ and her purpose in him!

Not saying that it's bad to have kids or get married, it's just that with the way things are in this world, having a family is getting harder and harder. Most importantly, committing yourself to an individual can deter your relationship with God. Obviously, that's not what He wants. Don't listen to what the world says.

Now courting is a different story. It is ok to get to know sombody befor you marry them. There is often a double standard presented with this issue, that women should be abstinent and not men. Do you have a strong relationship with Jesus and don't feel empty when others are not around? Do you know how to cook and clean? Can you balance you finances and home on your own?
