Does anyone have any footage of Loving from around August to December of 1991 or around then? I wanted to see Carly (Ava's sister). I remember there was a storyline where she ended up with a 10 year old son by Paul Slavinsky. The kid used to play a James Taylor song before he went to sleep or something like that. Please help!!!
i was almost in highschool to and got addicted to this and i hated soaps lol. best ending to a show actually ever lol. always said if i had a soap i would kill them all off in the end lol.!
The thing that always has driven me nuts, is LOVING was a 30 minute show. How can you not plan it any better? This final week was troubling...I was so sad to see the original cast get killed off one at a time.
Interesting that Gwyn and Ally were in the car together, was Gwyn technically committing suicide and that would have been that??? Great twist to the story.
That would have been an interesting twist...especially since it was revealled that Jeremy's death was not originally planned...it was when he got too close that Gwyn dispatched him.
Of course, part of me wondered why Ally would have been targetted, until I remembered that she had a child with an Alden...
@wx4newengland I don't know much about her in the '80's, but from what I can understand from watching in the 1990's, Gwyneth was one of those people who you either loved or hated. She did do some questionable things, but she also had her friends and allies. But, she also had a lot of tragedy too...Trisha lost her memory and turned her back on the family. Curtis went crazy and actually shot her. All those events certainly did not help Gwyneth's frame of mind.
I told that remembrance to Lisa at a local South Jersey convention where she was sitting at a table signing autographs. The beautiful and petite Lisa was in the area visiting relatives.I lucked out and found someone on ebay who sold me her entire tape collection of this soap opera. It's cool to see how many good actors started out on this show
Gwen never did appear in any of the episodes where the person got killed. Atleast not like in the same segment of the episodes. There were several clues, including the fact that the killers "room" was inside the Alden mansion and the killer easily got in and out of that mansion to kill Clay, Cabot and Isabella.
This takes me back to the summer before high school. I was so addicted to this storyline, and even though you knew Loving was going to be revamped, it was nice to see this serial go out with a BANG!
Is it really possible to die by quick-drying cement?

The last time that Jeremy was seen was in '02 on All My Children when he was in Heaven (with other deceased AMC characters).

Only the most original death in Soaps. Ever

Couldn't Jeremy just have jumped out of the way?
Jean LeClerk must have loved doing this scene.

Gwyneth sure has filled out. She was much slimmer back in the 80's.

@wx4newengland I know Gwyn was always a little impulsive and loopy at times, but I think Trisha's refusal to come back probably caused Gwyn to snap.

@jennymac1 Ally had a child with an Alden and Gwyn wanted to stop killing.

I totally never suspected her. Amazing work from all the actors.

I love the fact that it was her. It was great twist and shocker. the reasoning was great. It was pleaser from beginning to end.

Jeremy's death has got to go down in Soap History and one of the weirdest, yet most intresting ones EVER!
Sad to say but if the writters would have written more like they did at the end of this soap it might still be on the air, lord knows I miss it!

I remember this scene, and I agree - weird.
