Does anyone think that Cindy would have approved of ANY typical man that Casey may have married, moved out with & taking Caylee with, as stepdad to Caylee & with in-laws that might have been active grandparents? Might have been approval if the man was rich. Other than that, I can't see her yielding control over Casey like that & especially over Caylee. If push came to shove, she may have been okay w/Casey moving on & out if Caylee was allowed to stay behind.

we also have no way of knowing who might have taped Caylee's mouth or placed her in the trunk. What I wonder is why didn't Casey report Caylee as missing? Did she think Caylee was with a friend? Did she find Caylee's body in her car trunk, was afraid of whoever did it or afraid she would be accused? Was she on drugs/mentally ill or otherwise confused? Was she traumatized? I think if Casey had taped Caylee's face or murdered her she would have removed the tape before disposing of her body etc

I've never seen anything that indicates to me she was so crazy about Tony she would go nuts and kill her child for him. I definitively agree with sixonenine54, based on the depositions, most of Casey's friends and relatives have the general perception that Casey was a fairly decent mom. Something happened in those 2 months where her frustration with being a single parent or her life or Caylee was become a burden in her eyes. I believe there isn't enough forensic evidence (unless more information is distributed to the media) that finds Casey guilty of this crime. .

I can see why the parents dance around her, I am positive that they had dealt with her long enoght to know how to try to control and keep her talking. My thoughts ...Casey fell hard for Tony right away and freaked when he said he was leaving. This made her think that it was b/c of Caylee.

She could have given Caylee to her parents, but she knew she'd never hear the end of it if she abandoned her daughter.

I don't think there was violence in the murder. I believe that Caylee was drugged and placed in the trunk, with duct tape over her mouth in case she woke up. She probably lay (asleep) in the trunk until she died b/c of the heat.
