  • You can use any lcd screen, put large lenses on the front and back of the lcd, light up a HID bulb at least a 400W metal halide or a 250W Xenon Short Arc and Project a 120" just like a commercial projector..

    tech-tuesdays?

  • @Mraznkid99 I started Tech Tuesdays back in 2008. How-to Tuesdays and Scientific Tuesdays came after... They make it a little confusing in my opinion.

  • IN ENGLISH PLEZ!

  • Dude, this gives me like a 0.3 inch screen.

How can i mmake it bigger?

  • @TheBigBoyMen It has to be a few feet from the wall. Try adjusting the space between your two mirrors as well.

  • what a cheesy way to start a video lol

  • Cuuuute :-) and smart

  • y not just buy a projector thats much easy and with a nice bright light

  • like it dose this work with the iPod nano 5g?

  • @MeTube473 Can't see why not. Just turn the brightness up all the way!

  • The perfect combination of humor and information.

  • how do you make it not upside down

  • Turn your video source 180 degrees... does that work?

  • Wow i love cbs lmao

  • hi... where do you place the mirrors? can u tell ???

  • The mirrors are right below the ipod, and in the box. They face upwards at a 45 degree angle, so the light from the ipod is reflected onto the magnifying lenses.

  • thanks

  • your videos rock

  • its march for a laptop like the Samsung E900?

  • why use any mirrors, why not just put ipod behind the magnifying glass?

  • Using a mirror has a couple of benifits. The first is that it allows you to rest your iPod on top of the projector instead of placing it inside. This makes adjusting volume, pausing videos, and switching to a new video very easy. Another benefit is that when using the mirrors, the source of the video (the iPod) is further from the lenses, which means there is more room to adjust the focus of the projection.

  • I try with 1 lens, but it is not too

  • thank you but how many grosisement to a magnifying glass?

  • what is a grosisement?

  • We need 1 or 2 magnifying loupe?

Because on the video test I see 2 loupe

  • You need two loupes. I made a mistake in the directions.

  • You place the mirrors under the video player, leaning up against the wall of the tissue box (on the inside), and face up. They reflect light from the video being played onto the magnifying glasses.

  • at a 45º angle

  • very awesome idea, just one question,

where do you place the mirrors?

  • I'm wondering how you came up with such a fantastic idea?

  • I can't wait to make my own projector. You're really cool!
