You can use any lcd screen, put large lenses on the front and back of the lcd, light up a HID bulb at least a 400W metal halide or a 250W Xenon Short Arc and Project a 120" just like a commercial projector..
@Mraznkid99 I started Tech Tuesdays back in 2008. How-to Tuesdays and Scientific Tuesdays came after... They make it a little confusing in my opinion.
The mirrors are right below the ipod, and in the box. They face upwards at a 45 degree angle, so the light from the ipod is reflected onto the magnifying lenses.
Using a mirror has a couple of benifits. The first is that it allows you to rest your iPod on top of the projector instead of placing it inside. This makes adjusting volume, pausing videos, and switching to a new video very easy. Another benefit is that when using the mirrors, the source of the video (the iPod) is further from the lenses, which means there is more room to adjust the focus of the projection.
You place the mirrors under the video player, leaning up against the wall of the tissue box (on the inside), and face up. They reflect light from the video being played onto the magnifying glasses.

Dude, this gives me like a 0.3 inch screen.
How can i mmake it bigger?
TheBigBoyMen 9 months ago
@TheBigBoyMen It has to be a few feet from the wall. Try adjusting the space between your two mirrors as well.
