hi guys and girls.for those who has hit a black screen after installing hold right bumper and hold up on the power switch.if you successfully booted up 6.37 ME then you installed it correctly.to make it work simply just take out the memory card when the psp is turned off.turn it on without the memcard in it and hold the home button and turn the psp on and there you go a newly installed custom firmware with full networking support to the psn network.

@SuperMeshy hi i have successfully installed this new firmware on my psp 2003 series.so yeah it will work 100%.also if your psp hasn't got CFW on your psp then you will need a "pandora's battery" and "magic memory stick" from a CFW enabled psp or you can order both of those things on AMAZON.but if you already have a CFW psp then don't worry about those two things.anyway it works.

I never had any problems with 5.00 M33 - 6. Also if you hold L + R + Tri + Square while you boot the update you can update with less than 78% power.

@MrQbeat Download the file in the desctirption: CFW 6.37. and go load your battery to 80% and if you have downloaded da cfw. paste it in your GAME folder. and make another folder inside GAME named: Update. put the cfw inside it. and plug out usb-cabble. and go to games on your memory system in your psp. and you see it

I did everything you said in the video and I ran the Hell Cats Recovery Flasher and went from CFW 5.50 Premetheus to 5.00 M33-6, then I ran the update and Im at 6.37 ME-3. So I ran this program, I dont know if you have heard of it, but its called Home Viewer and I got game could not be started. I also ran my NES Emulator and when i tried loading a ROM it froze, the i tried my SNES emulator and i can run games but when i try to exit it, my psp freezes. When I try running CSO's my psp also freezes

Thanks! I had already installed this and had it working but somehow messed it up after installing ISOtool and none of my .CSOs would work. Followed your video and now it's running Metal Slug faster and better than my UMD copy ever did. It's probably because i hadn't installed it from 5.00 originally.
