It's cool and a very good idea to know how every and each champ works. But always try to focus on some of them, 3 or 4, since playing LoL is about knowing how to fulfill roles and good teamworking. People who play just to get some kills or troll the opponents are not getting the spirit of the game at all.

@MrPaul0y I agree there are roles I'm weaker with but actually learning to play about 16 champions across all different roles actually improves your over-all skill aswell, 'cause you have a much better understanding of your team mates and enemies. it also builds map awareness from jungling, support builds survival, tank builds initiation, Bruiser builds priority targeting, AP carry builds how to manage team fights, AD carry builds team composition awareness... They all have their purpose.
