wow...so simple,the bent spoon is held first,the other piece is laid at a straight up position with grip.the grip is slowly loosening then he just pushes it down to a laid down position on top of the original bent spoon.then he pulls the bent spoon making it look like the other piece is attached although he is pulling the bent spoon from under the cut off piece .tadaa...there is you explanation/tutorial.
