I had to take sole custody of my son from my ex wife after she was diagnosed as a borderline psychotic, her post partum depression was horrible. she never harmed our son but she was an extreme delusional ... claiming demons were stalking her. pregnancy can really re-wire your chemical balances... I didnt know my wife anymore after the birth.

There are many other places in the Bible where God kills or orders children to be killed. One example: God allows or want the hebrews to rip open pregnant women and inocent children to be smashed on rocks in Hosea 13:16. The bible is a horrible book.

She didn't have clinical depression, she had extreme postpartum depression and psychosis, exacerbated by horrifyingly incorrect medication and treatment, and additionally not helped by her suffocating living situation and disturbing religious affiliation. OF COURSE what she did was wrong, that is absolutely undisputed - but you should really take a second to educate yourself about PSYCHOTIC mental illness before such comments.

If you take a look at babies ages there was little time for her to recover from one pregnancy to another. The first pregnancy was followed by another a month later? Think husband should be more responsible (rather than selfish)! It's no wonder he's standing by her....it's guilt over his selfish behaviour with a woman who's unstable and suffering from post natal depression. When I had my first child I went through depression for about 6 months.... What I found is that there is help out there in many people, and you can get through it. What she was is a coward who couldnt handle the life of motherhood. Her and her husband were told not to have any more children. BUT DID THEY LISTEN???? NOOOooooo!!!
