Alexisonfire is and always be a crazy popular band because they are freaking amazing. They created such a loyal fan base, and lots of that base got into Dallas's City and Colour, which you can hardly call a "solo project" anymore. Both bands are kickass. Both are different but also the same.

I am going to be honest...Alexisonfire was WAY better back then, the self titled CD was awesome and even watch out was great but now they kinda suck...dallas green kinda sold out with Sh*tty in color , this song is good but the other ones on this CD SUCK!!!!! George cant even scream particuarly well, his range is low but when he belts it, he belts it.. IMO, Dallas and the instrumentation set Alexisonfire apart from everyone else.

The band has developed alot since self and watch out! great songs on both albums, but Crisis and Cardinals have taken them to a whole other level.

And city and colour was rad,IMO

as much as i like dallas, i would have to disagree and say that george pettit embodies alexisonfire. admittedly, saying that a frontman is the face of his band is pretty clichéd, but considering their respective interviews, i would say that pettit's (or even macneil's, for that matter) persona corresponds with AOF's music's themes than does that of green.
