yes, octopuses are smarter than parrot, monkey, and even elephant. amazing creatures so I wont eat no more octopuses from now on. I have respect for these creatures.
@ohemeffgeee It's like saying, "the Balmoral castle of garden sheds" it's called a turn of phrase, the garden shed is not a castle, Einstein, or were you attempting sarcasm as a humorous device? Maybe get some help from the mollusc next time.
@ohemeffgeee you could argue that he initiated work on the manhattan project by writing that letter to roosevelt suggesting that the germans had the potential of making a nuclear weapon, but he didn't actually contribute to the project itself, let alone design a nuke. he actually didn't even have clearance to work on it.
octopus are amazing creatures. For some people it's hard to imagine an animal with "intelligence" comparable to humans but it's actually a very possible reality.

Wait, why would it be considered the "Einstein" of invertebrates... Did it invent a nuclear bomb or discover the photoelectric effect and quantums?

If the octopus is the Einstein, wouldn't a cuttlefish be Newton?

This is an example of that.
