Just today i lost the cable to my mp3 and tried using one of my sister's but that piece o' shit cable caused it to crash or something. It didn't have any battery at the time but it seemed like it was charging. So is there a way to salvage it or do i have to buy an ipod? (i hate ipods)

@dela26chitown Have you tried the reset button a few times. I found whenever something odd would happen I'd simply just reset it, and it'd begin to function like normal. Hope that helps

I used to have one of these. There are some problems related to both volume and center buttons: the external volume button simply left the MP3 player. It still possible to cahnge it, but i needed a piece of woden to presse the internal button. Of course, once I used it for joggin and riding on my bike I could easily find one.

Also the central button some times stuck, and if u press the forward button once, it is possible the player advances 3 or 4 musics. REALLY bad.

@sipuska2 Your thing should come with a converter. This'll convert the files. If you want to download videos from youtube onto it. You need: Download helper ( Free ), Any video converter ( Free ) and the converter that comes with it to put into the mp3. I've done and watched television shows too.

I have this same mp3 and ive downloaded some music lately and when I plug it in to charge it,it won't identify it on my computer.Yet just yesterday at my friends' I plugged it in to his and it was just fine.I even tried restarting,refreshing,and getting rid of add-ons on my computer.Could someone PLEASE help me with this problem and what I can do to fix it?

supposedly 900 songs on a 3min basis, but i could only get at most 600 but I have many songs that are longer than 5min so it possibly could hold that many.
