  • why is there an open Budweiser in the fridge?

  • How lovely. I'm coming over. You don't mind do you.....:]

  • nice place! =D

  • that is nice how much does cost you?

    Thank You.

    Please excuse me.

  • Youve got a super view, bro !

  • Sweet view bro

  • @awsomenumberone Same with me... I was thinking " it's about the same size as mine" but the he opened that window I got so jealous!

  • At first I was like "eh" but then that view wow

  • People are always complaining about studios, when the truth is they can be decorated beautifully like yours, with a gorgeous view.

  • I'm jealous

  • studio?? this a real housee.. beautiful :)

  • That's not a studio apartment, that's a hotel sweet. O_O My studio apartment is less than half that size, with a wonderful view of the highway. Lol.

  • LOVE IT!!!! Thanks!!

  • very nice!

  • a studio in that location with that size? i estimate you pay 3-5grand a month

  • kool apt...lovely view

  • omg... that is SUCH a nice view!!

  • priceless.

  • How much is something like that?

  • whats the size

  • you know someones rich if you could find them based on the view from their window..

  • hahahah...as if I wasn't feeling jealous enough, you had to pull up the curtain as well!

  • Nicest studio I've seen so far. I used to work in that area and I wouldn't be surprised if you were paying $3,000/month for it. BTW you have fabulous interior decorating skills.

  • If i had a view like that my blind would never be closed! Actually id never even have blinds! LUCKY!

  • That is an AWESOME apartment.

Living in NYC has been a life long dream of mine. I'm a sidewalk chalk artist and stand-up comic. I'm trying to accumulate a decent bankroll right now so I can make the bounce to NYC. I've got friends there already I just need to get myself there.

I'm hungry for a little time in NYC,

If anyone wants to see my sidewalk art, I'm Chalkarts on Deviantart. If I could be a Pavement artist in NYC, even if I were making only barely enough to survive, I'd be in Bliss.

  • @CreepyFnord Years ago,I read about an artist who painted the landscape of New York City, selling the paintings on the sidewalks, and made enough for him to own a penthouse apartment in Battery Park, with an even more beautiful view than this one ! ( without the two apartment towers between the Statue of Liberty and his windows. Can you sell your artworks as he did? And how? Think about it. You can be rich.George Wu, AIA 2011-8-24

  • @georgewu5 Nice view and little apartment! I am about to rent my first studio apartment in a pre-war building on the west side in Harlem. Any advice on decorating without feeling cramped?

  • @zoeydebra Yes, if your apartment is, say,13 feet wide, you could make a storage closet 18 inches wide,by the full length of one of the cheek walls that could be from 12' to 24'-0" long, and go to Home Depot and buy several 4'-0" wide roll-up plastic-stick screens, and hang them from the ceiling. The result is that you get a storage closet 18" x 12'-0" x 8'-0" H. It could also insulate you from the neighbors if play loud music, or vice versa. You will love it ! George Wu, AIA 2011-9-25

  • @CreepyFnord As I said earlier, making $160 a week ,even in 1967, was only good enough for me to live in YMCA at west 61st street. But if you started thinking how to promote yourself ( obviously I never could), Then You do not have to be a poor artist like me ! George Wu, AIA,/ artist /Intrernational ballroom dancer.

  • I like what you did with such little space.

  • beautiful! do you have a bathroom?

  • nice space

  • Can someone please tell me if a queen size mattress could fit in 310sq ft apartment?

  • NY studio apartments can be listed @ 24hourapartments

  • sweet View!

  • Can't even finish a 12oz bud huh? lol Just Kidding :)

  • Very Nice and cozy. Im currently looking for Studio Decorating Ideas. Mine looks so boring right now especially during the winter. But a studio apt in NYC does cost a fortune. P.s. Spider man comment was hilarious.

  • why do i get the feeling this is a gay man's apartment?

  • you have a gorgeous view and a very cute apartment. the "spiderman" comment made me burst out laughing!

  • These Apts Suck. I rented here for a year and i hated it ! Landlords never fix anything and the heater doesnt work. STAY AWAY !

  • Love the view but it is kinda scary !!!

  • Damn, that view is sick! Nice decor, u shld put a screen to separate ur living and bed area for privacy.

  • i love battery park!

  • wow your place looks so nice and has a great view!!! lucky

  • This is very close to where I stayed in a hotel when I visited New York around new years

  • OMG SO COMFY LOOKING. THat must cost over 5 grand AND plus in Financial District! LUCKY. :D

  • What's your square footage?

  • Yo ur studio is tight work!! I like it. I'm thinking about moving into a studio myself here in Miami Beach. Any ideas you can share with me? Thx n advance

  • that is so cool, you can see the statue of liberty from your window! A sight that many people travel to New York to see!

  • 4 that view, I KNOW you pay BIG BUCKS per month!!!

  • Studio refers to the layout - a studio does not have a bedroom with a door - the living area and area for the bed is one room.

Condo refers to the ownership of the unit, although New York City has its own terminology and entire set of laws regarding rent control and socialized ownership that are unique to The City. Most of the United States does not live in high rise apartment buildings and has no idea why anyone would want or need a doorman.

  • whats the differece between studio and condo ? O :

  • Ohhh wow it might be small but the view makes it spectacular...how fantastic.

  • You have a spectacular view for sure, but the color scheme and furniture/deco is alittle to bland for my taste. Get some dark rich tones in there and some modern style :D. Everyone has their own preferences i guess hahah.

  • Very Nice!!! You have Good taste!!!

  • how much?

  • Comment removed

  • very nice- how much is the rent?

  • real nice.

  • WOW thats a great view.

  • OHMYGOD awesome view

  • i looove your apartment

  • hello from carcassonne france

yes i have a dream to come in new york

    a day maybe

if you want you can see my studio where i'm living since two years in Carcassonne

    good

    karim

  • I would say this is probably at minimum 2000 a month. Because it's a high rise which likely means doorman, gym, and the great view it's probably even more than that.

  • Wow, nice view! NYC is expensive enough and with a view like that I bet it's a bundle.

  • loll sweet u frm india?

  • Nice

  • wow beautiful views you got. how much do you pay for that? heard its damn expensive in NYC

  • Very nice..., but I think he should partition the bed with some sort of partition...trees...bookcases?

  • Brooklyn?

  • from the view it looks like lower manhattan

  • @parejopinto Battery Park

  • hi, I would like to know how much is rent.

    thanks.

  • lol i think my friend lives in that building!

i live in nyc too :)

  • i like, wish i could live there

  • Very cozy, but the view would be worth it to me.

  • nice studio, clean and tidy, and in front of the welcoming symbol of America -- Lazarus. Nice choice of furnishings.

  • khool Apt

  • 1 West? Nice apartment! I was torn between there and Two Gold and picked Two Gold for location. Congrats!

  • whats the rent?

  • What an amazing view....that tiny little space must cost you a fortune!

  • @MandaTifa.. well yeah, esp with that view and the location.

  • when u open ur window i was like "oh ho! freakn sweeT"

  • Georgeus view!

  • its so small and Cozy! I want one! and wow what a view!!!

  • would it be cool if u open ur window and suddenly u see spider man

  • @ajthemooonster LOL

  • @ajthemooonster groe up you faggot

  • @MrExit15 someones jealous

  • @ajthemooonster jealous, i live in a 2 story house with a basement in a beautiful, quiet, new rochelle suburb. LMAO

  • @ajthemooonster In reality of a typical old New York apartment building, the chance of seeing cockroaches or even rats was more likely than seeing a spider man ! I lived only once in a New York City YMCA while I was working for I.M. Pei architect and Associates(Salary was $160 per week) in 1967. They did not pay me enough to live in an apartment like this one shown! That explained why the rich is getting richer; and the poor is getting poorer. George Wu,AIA 2011-8-22

  • we you really not able to finish that can of bud? you know it gets dull when u "finish it later"

  • So where do you go pee pee? :)

  • awesome place.

  • how much do you pay for that????? i love it!! is it in manhattan?

  • WOW. lucky you!!

  • wow...very nicce

  • Lovely...only thing I'd change is the orientation of the bed. I'd put it against the other wall, then put some sort of partition between the bed and sofa (like fabric hanging from ceiling that you can pull forward and back) so it can feel like a separate room.

  • Do you need a temp roomate?
