We love our catahoula. We got him from a rescue center about a year ago. He was only 3 months old when we adopted him. He loves to play with any and every dog. He is also good at playing to their level. Whenever we go home to my parents and he plays with their 10 year old mini shanuwzer, he will get down to his level and submit and play. But when we go to the dog parks, and he is around bigger dogs, he will instigate play and just get them to chase him. All around, he is the best dog.
Were thinking about getting a catahoula dog but we have read that if you get a male catahoulas dont usually get along with other males and we have 3 other male dogs at home. we also have 2 chihuahuas and have heard they will be too rough for our chihuahuas. can you give me some good advice on thebreed? any information will be helpful. thanks so much!
