@dsmaster92 I completely agree, Deep Burnt is a true relic of house music. Therefore I was VERY sceptic when i first clicked this, but when I heard the 180bpm beat I thought "They made a Drum'n'Bass remix? How fucking genious is that!?"
Taking the hypnotic melody of Deep Burnt and turning down to 90bpm to create this great DnB track definitely did it for for me. Not that it stands any chance against the original, but it's still a great remix.
@DJRognvaldur You know, maybe this sounds weird, but after listening to this for the second time, I have to agree with you. Thank you for enlightening me:D
@dsmaster92 Hey no problem man, I'm glad you like it. :) The thing about remixes is that all too often people try to put them up against the original. I actually think this piece in particular shows how different remixes can be from the original, and that you shouldn't compare them to the original but rather see them as two completely different tracks.
@dsmaster92 i know your comment is already 9 months old, but i still want to add my part. regardless of what your opinion about this particular remix is (which i share, btw), a remix is never a try of improvement. it is simply another interpretation, a different angle of perspective, which is imo the quintessential motivation of creating music in general and therefore should never be forbidden. thats art.
i love it!

Love a WAV/AIFF (better still a FLAC/ALAC, with a 1500px large artwork ;-) of this!
— any chance?

This is pure sacrilege. Remixing a song like''Deep Burnt'' is no go for me. It is simply perfect the way it is. It is too good to be remixed.
