I wish people would stop putting "rare" on in the title of the video.
When something is on youtube, the rarity of it diminishes.
It reminds me of seeing a VHS video of The Karate Kid on a market stall with "RARE - £48" on the cover.
The term RARE has been over-used, the English language has regressed. Rare items, eg: viking sword; is described as, "An exclusive and unique piece" - and anything that forces the English language to increase the use words to describe things is a bad thing.
i think the reason john was in a good mood about it here was because this was the point where he was separated from yoko. i'm telling you, if she wasn't in the picture and didn't have to be involved in everything he did, he didn't feel badly about the other guys at all, really.
This is very different from what he was saying in 1980. A mysterious character indeed. In his last interview in 1980 he said "I doesn't exist, can't exist" when asked why the Beatles didn't get back together.

Like there are 9 other groups that even come CLOSE to the Beatles. Maybe the Stones and after them I guess it's all up to individual taste but there aren't any real criteria for judging I suppose (record sales, concert attendance, influence over future generations, etc.)
Nice to see John was so uplifting about the past with the Beatles. After all it was one of the top 10 greatest bands of human history. Glad he took some appreciation for what it did for him and for us.

This video doesn't prove anything; all the Beatles were always changing their minds back and forth about it, especially John and George. Who knows if they ever would have all wanted to at the same time?
