And it pisses me off that she honestly thinks that just b/c she gets some letter from a girl saying, "Oh, I'm okay with what I have now" b/c she sees these girls that this show will make a difference. People act like "doing without" means just not getting everything they want. Have these people ever met anyone living in poverty? Or do they think that everyone grows up in middle class homes or higher? Another bullshit show that's NOWHERE near acquainted with reality.

I hate shows like this, because they don't do shit. They aren't going to change those girls' attitudes toward money. What took years to cultivate isn't going to take a few months to break down, especially with a little "volunteer work". Work ethic is something that has to be ingrained in a person through hardship. What they're doing with these girls is hardly a hardship for them. An inconvenience maybe, but NOT a hardship.

@MaggieLovesJimmy If anything I think it would work if they were put in a cheap motel for 2 years and have to work 2 full time jobs to pay nothing but bills, and not being able to afford cloths or fun. That need to be shown real life, there are so many people who work 2 jobs and still cant afford to live and loose their homes, or get put on the street. That right there would change these girls and make a good show, yes? Great response btw =) very true.

@nyxong24 Yeah, they should live like the people in that book Nickel and Dimed. That's exactly what some women have to do - live in cheap motels and work two or three jobs just to get by. I'd love to see women like this have to endure that. That would be a real lesson from the school of hard knocks.
