God, I hated my dell, but my daughter has gone through 2 or 3 macs in the time that I have had a $345 gateway netbook that just wont die...no matter how hard I try - it even has parts broken off and the dang thing keeps working - just pop that part right back on. I actually had to send my daughter one while she waits to save up for another mac to stick her hard drive in. But I still reach for the mac when it's around, it's so pretty.

They're not a bad thing, I wouldn't have known my RAM went corrupt (which can happen in Macs and PCs, although I'd definetely prefer a PC for when that happens), they're just error messages. Idiot computers no doubt assumed the BSOD errors they were getting was some fault of Windows when it was more likely the virus they installed from Limewire

No crashing, no wasted time sitting in line to send it off for 3-5 weeks when it breaks down. We all know you're not apple, but other than design apple's aren't worth how expensive they are. The hardware is decent, yes, but not for the price. Also, with apple you're restricted to OS X, which limits the programs, unless you use vista, in which case, why buy a mac?
