I don't if you were said that to spike or not... But hell yeah...I liked it... I just wondered did the bird flew on purpose or some1 threw a rock at it...:D...
dude, save up. don't wish. I wanted this camera so bad i've pulled together all my skills to raise funds and i've actually managed to save up 5 thousand, enough to throw in some extras like a new lens and the grip.
There's a jack for a mic. The low light videos from this camera are amazing. The depth of field and low light capabilities- it blows away video cameras costing way more.
How about the casio ex-f1? :)Yes it's only 6mp but hey, 60 fps on stills, 300-1200 fps in movie mode, I sure like that! Or better, a canon with the same speed.
Try comparing like with like! There is NO dSLR that can shoot at those speeds nor would we want them to. The Casio has a 7mm x 5mm sensor, tiny compared to the 5D's 36mm x 24mm sensor. Your comparison is like comparing a little Handycam with a BBC HD TV camera.... ie completely and utterly irrelevant. Play with the Casio toy if you want but the Canon 5D is in a different league.
the casio doesn't operate on a shutter system. It's just grabbing compressed video frames and treating the frames as images. You're asking for a camera to capture images at 21 megabytes times sixty in one single second. That's about 1.2 gigabytes of raw data per second being processed by single, tiny processor. reality check.

Wow! The plot was brilliant! Gripping! This is storytelling at its best. I never expected the ending!

I'm not a professional photographer, so I can't really justify it. I have so many hobbies, I'd be broke if I spent my money on all of them ;)

It has an internal mic; they apparently thought the sound was useless for these demo videos though

The only thing I miss on that camera is higher fps on the stills. Why not make it 10, 20 or 60 fps?
ullklutt 3 years ago
You miss it, huh. Where exactly did you have 60fps uhhhhh EVER? The world's fastest dslr (1DMkIII) is 10 fps.

Yes I know how the stuff works, but what's wrong about dreaming? Today's technology doesn't allow that speed, but tomorrow.. No one knows.

You may want to remind people to add the &fmt=18 or click High Quality since it's an HD sample. :) Great vid
