the united states marine corp is a powerful branch of military. The work is difficult even though i have never experienced any of the training required it seems they do not properly train these marines for these type of situation. I think they should begin training more aggressively to harden soldiers
They have the weapons but after about 20 mins in a firefight they go to random shooting and stop picking targets. Not many countries like to fight with american soldiers as they have the worst reputation for friendly fire. Good munitions good weapons horrible troops and bad training.
WWII the germans laughed at the yankee battleships that would leave all their lights on at night. America is only a major military power because it spends more on military then healthcare.

the united states marine corp is a powerful branch of military. The work is difficult even though i have never experienced any of the training required it seems they do not properly train these marines for these type of situation. I think they should begin training more aggressively to harden soldiers

They have the weapons but after about 20 mins in a firefight they go to random shooting and stop picking targets. Not many countries like to fight with american soldiers as they have the worst reputation for friendly fire. Good munitions good weapons horrible troops and bad training.
WWII the germans laughed at the yankee battleships that would leave all their lights on at night. America is only a major military power because it spends more on military then healthcare.

There is also another incident with a fighter jet that killed a few British soldiers.

@laoxxxiler - but that's the thing --- we can't tell who's a civilian or not. The insurgents will just leave with all the civilians and we won't know. Then when we 'clear' out the city and let all the civilians come in, the insurgents will come back in too.
Also we can't just blow everything up. Those are people's homes, property, and businesses. I wish we could just blow everything up like in a conventional war, but we can't.
