Of all the people in Elvis' circle, this is the man that really cared for Elvis, protected Elvis, played guitar for Elvis, sang backing for Elvis, gave scarves, water, and support on stage to Elvis, lived at Graceland with Elvis, harmonised and rehearsed with Elvis, He's the one who totally devoted himself to Elvis. All the books written about Elvis spoke well and good about Charlie Hodge. Without a doubt, Charlie was the closest to Elvis from 1958 to 1977. Elvis and Charlie R.I.P.

I've met Charlie Hodge on a few occassions at Graceland prior to Elvis's death. He's a very nice fellow. In fact, my mom has a picture of them both together near the gates.

So sad, Elvis didn`t take time out for himself, instead of doing so

many gruelling performances while he was ill! And these people

who spread these lies make me so angry!! They would be fortunate

to have 1/2 the class Elvis had!

No other performer could have survived the all so gruelling and arduous lifestyle and been able to sing and perform so brilliantly as Elvis...especially during times of bad health. Elvis cared more to please everyone else.
