  • keep the good work up.

  • obviously you've forgotten this was made in the 70's... they made documentaries based on what they thought were sound facts or sound theories of that era... much like the ones of today. duh

  • evil usually masquerades as good

  • In Search of was so good at examining things, even when they absolutely knew it wasn't real, like "God" and the Garden of Eden.

  • After watching several of these episodes in a row, I halfway expected Bigfoot to pop out from behind a tree, scare the beejeezes out of Eve and then run off.

This, of course, would be followed by Adam thinking it's all a big hoax of some sort.

  • Ugh..looks more like the Garden of Sweden.. Eve, I mean.

  • Adam looks like Richard Ramirez

  • And about the rivers... Because they have the same name... it doesnt mean it is the same river... York... New York... Orleans... Hampshire... Finland... If there were a flood... the rivers would be gone... People who got of the ark would say: That looks like the old land, lets name it the same... Pleace read something before you make a documentary about it

  • Oh look at that. It talks of a garden... Lets go find it! Oh wait... chapters later it talks of the earth being flooded with water and destroyed... Might it be that it is gone? The garden of eden is surely under 1000feet of mud under Jerusalem

  • i heard they are building a mosque at ground zero

  • Eden is a myth based on Mesopotamian myths about why man does not have immortality. A man called Adapa at Eridu in Sumer (Iraq) obtains godly forbidden knowledge but is denied immortality by his god Ea. So Eridu is the pre-biblical prototype of Eden's mythical garden. In Eridu Adapa's god warned him "Do not eat the forbidden food or you will die!" presaging God's warning to Adam. Google Eden, Eridu Adapa Ea for more information on how and why the Hebrews recast this myth as the Garden of Eden.
