  • these r bad farm dogs, my staffy keeps trying 2 kill my chickens & cat!

  • i have a staffie but he dosen't do this! But how ever he is my lil' boy AND I WILL NEVER TRADE HIM FOR THE WORLD. HE IS MY WORLD!!!!

  • lol ca l'enerve parceque la branche bouge et qu'il n'arrive pas a la cassé pour jouer avec ! mais en tout qu'a il lache pas son morceau il l'aura ca branche a force

  • We spent hours watching Buster swinging from trees, his ultimate favourite past time, unfortunately, he lost several teeth in the process. He is 13 now and has six teeth left! he is however a veyr happy, contented OAP, and we are so sad that he will not be with us a great deal longer.

  • hahahahahahaha xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • awww! soo cute! my mom and dad are thinking about getting a staffie puppy! and his head is still and his body is swinging at, 0:04!

  • @sadajen GET FROM A RESCUE DONT BUY!!! TOO MANY IN DOG POUNDS BEING PUT TOO SLEEP EVERYDAY

  • Lovely dog, Staffy jaws lock when they bite, mine used to love doin this too. He looks just like my staffy xx

  • @MultiKez2010 That's a myth, they DO NOT LOCK... they just have prominent jaw muscles.

  • @jonnydigital123 You're right. It's all to do with Bite power and Tenacity.

The only dog I know that can really lock it's jaws is the British Bulldog.

  • how do you teach them this i have 2 both only 10 months old and wont do it

  • thats ace ,my staffy used 2 do that ,till she fell funny an run up a massive vets bill 4 me .lol.

  • My Staffy makes those weird and wonderful noises when doing this sort of thing lol !

  • good boy!

  • lol looks lie tree has boner trees saying fuck oww not so hard

  • Bad Bad Branch!!! So cute.

  • 0:33 -> LOL Choking on some bark there XD

My Staffie tried to do this once. While walking through the woods we came across a low hanging branch and, despite having never shown an interest in branches before, he jumped up and grabbed on. Unfortunately, it wasn't a very solid branch so the whole thing came crashing down. He wasn't hurt, but it scared the crap out of him and he hasn't attempted it again since ^_^'

  • is the dog called mini

  • my staff doesn't like to bite shit, i dunno wtf's wrong with her...anybody?

  • @krzeselko .Yeah,my staffy doesn't really show any interest in tug toys and stuff,i sometimes kick the football around which he loves but he never really bursts them although he could if he wanted. It's a different story with a big bone though,it's demolished in double quick time! As long as it's not biting people i don't think you've much to worry about.

  • @xXoldskoolerXx my favorite dogs:)

  • @xXoldskoolerXx haha my stafford tried to eat an hedgehog. not the smartes decision he has made

  • it does't like that branch

  • nice one have a staffie is well he could do dat but dusnt make dat noise

  • I really AM a dog. I used to love doing pull-ups, too :-).

  • That's just too funny. My ex and I were true rednecks when we had our house with a fenced yard. We hung a couple of ropes in the tree with knots tied in them so our two pitties could hang on. They'd run and catch the rope and then just hang there, bouncing and making funny noises. OMG, it was a hoot and they loved it, lol.

  • LOL thats great nice dod buddy how old is it?

  • thats cool

  • Haha, I feel like I've seen this before :P

  • omg this dog look just like my pup did and does the same and gas thee same game drive

  • * WHY WONT YOU COME DOWN BRANCH I WANNA EAT YOU* xD my Freddie tries to do this but hes to little :p

  • lollll thats too cute!!!

  • that branch must of really pissed him off

  • What a fantastic staff!!!

  • @AtomicCheese92 they're good dogs

  • I like golden retrievers

  • @z4zipper there pusssies

  • That lil muthafucca is a lil animal whoever own him you doing yo' job all tha way.

  • my staffy , same black and white colour, loves to do this. we didnt teach him it he just decided to do it one day. now you cant take him for a walk without him attacking every hanging branch he walks past. amazing breed of dog!

  • a monnkey

  • That's the spitting image of my dog .

  • what a character, do these dogs do this kinda stuff forf fun or trauned to do it? I see alot of staffs, pits and amstaffs holding on but curious if they just do it or if the owners are showing off the dogs skills

  • awwwww my staff used to do this and it was sooooo funny! love these dogs :)

  • @juliejenner - they all love to do it for fun and owners love to see it so I am sure there is some encouragement from owners

  • its sad when we "bully" breed owners cant even post a video of our dog and not get any rude comments about it. come on people! is the dog hurting anyone?! NO!

  • Oh my goodness so funny!!

  • Staffies are possibly the best dog I have ever known, however they must know that they are not the no1 in the household, give them love and they will return it 10 fold, easy to train, love to play and protective of his family towards other dogs, staffies are simply the best dog I've known!

  • bare jawlock

  • nice strong dog.........

im thinkin of gettin a staff how are they as a dog...

    loyal???

    learners????

  • @ksmaster123 I would never have another breed. They are loyal obedient, easy to train and always looking to please their owner. They do however need to know they are a dog, treat them like a child or an equal and you you will find them hard to train and possibly destructive

  • Staffies are possibly the best dog I have ever known, however they must know that they are not the no1 in the household, give them love and they will return it 10 fold, easy to train, love to play and protective of his family towards other dogs, staffies are simply the best dog I've known!

  • @THEGRENDAL im made that same mistake with my youngest, still bites everything, hes going through a stage of eating toilet rolls

  • @ksmaster123 "nice strong dog" if you want to get a staff for this reason then you are getting one for the wrong reason

  • Comment removed

  • @ksmaster123 i trained my staffie to sit , both paws , lie down , roll over and even play dead at around 8-10 week old they are great dogs they are a must have if you want a dog. =]

  • @xYHMxHAT3R thanks

  • @ksmaster123 the best, playful caring LOYAL and quite good at learning i love my girl 8) you should defo get one

  • @ksmaster123 staffies are kool I use to own one when i had my lab oh yeah staffies are the most koolist breed I know so far

  • @ksmaster123 Bring a staffie up right & they'll love u unconditionally, if u want loyalty I've found that bitches are best, I have 2 bitches, mother and daughter, someone tried to steal Nel (mother of the 2) once when I was holidaying in Wales, she broke free and I found her 2 miles away making her way back to me :D One thing I will say is that its very important to socialise them at an early age. I didn't with Nel and now shes quite aggressive towards other Dog (but wonderful with people :D)

  • @ksmaster123 most loving breed i have ever owned

  • I rely like your pitbull, she is a sweet dog!

I want to know if she has any puppies, but maybe a nicer color, I can give you lots of pounds.

  • @Forgetmenot953

Its a staffordshire bull terrier not a pit bull, no puppies.

  • @THEGRENDAL

Don't you get tired of explaining that, I know I do. Then when you tell them the name they say...well thats the same thing pretty much...because they think you are talking about an American Stafforshire Terrier....then you have to explain further...very frustrating

  • get a grip imanglo its just a dog having fun, check out my dog at PIT BULL SWING, just kidding he's a poodle, lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just a dog playing, you shouldnt be so quick to stereotype people,i live in a nice area where dogs are free to swing from trees without prejudice, lol

  • sorry that was directed at imanglo, not THEGRENDAL

  • sorry that was directed at imanglo, not THEGRENDAL

  • great to watch, its just a dog having fun i dont see what the big deal is, its not hanging from some old woman or something its just a dog playing thegrendal, you shouldnt stereotype people so quickly, check out my vid PIT BULL SWING, just kidding he's a poodle, lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just dogs having fun,not getting into training for killing, and for the record i live in a very nice area, where dogs can hang from trees without predjudice, lol

  • Thats ace lmao

  • Isn't that bad for their toothies???

  • Thats a staffy? It looks like one yet sounds like a chihuahua.

  • Downey.!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

  • lol well maybe its balls didn't drop yet xD.Nice looking dog and all tho.But the voice...

  • wow i didnt mean to get flamed, i was just saying what mine did. sorry if you dont believe me but its not my problem

  • it must just be a staffy thing my dog does exactly the same, he loves swinging on trees or running round with bottles/cans/branches in his mouth. i used to think he was just crazy but it must be in there blood lol

  • Staffies dont have lock jaw. Due to the way in which staffs are bred they tend to bite once and hold on which is how the rumour started, or so ive been told, i could be wrong...

  • No your right,no dog on earth (no pitbull) has lock jaw - it's a myth.

  • mitico troppo divertente!!!!!!

  • lock jaw? natural born predator?? you never owned a staff huh...

  • it realllyy wants that branch :P haha

    awesome

  • Haha! This is great. Our staffie used to do that too :) gonna get myself a staffie one day

  • my stafford doing that too O.O 5*

  • He looks exactly like my staffy Harley (now deceased) harls was a maniac for this too, and his favourite game was tug of war..... or he'd get the ball for you to throw, then when you went to pick it up off the ground, he'd grab it and run off with it, the game being if you wanted to throw the ball for him you had to get it off him first. I was always quick to give up and go back inside, he'd come and sit near the glass door and look at me as if to say "what the hell are you doing!

  • imanglo you are an idiot, bet you have never even come across a staffy, all dog breeds have attacked somone or something it is down to the owners and how they train them not the breed ! staffys rock they are the best !

  • I dont know the social make up of your area e.g if it has a high content of social deficiants and drug abusers - who tend to want this breed due to its genetic muscular makeup but if you abuse or treat a dog to fight regardless of breed it will do so- due to its power it can damage heavily unlike the thousands of jack russell attacks per year in comparison to hundreds of staffordshire attacks. Additionally rehoming centres are responsible & dont rehome unknown powerful dogs with families

  • Only a few staffs are aggressive due to poor ownership (as with any dog), most are very hyper but a very happy breed with masses of love for humans. I never saw myself owning a staff but rehomed one 2 years ago and trust her completey with my 3 kids.

  • @imanglo

staffies have no inherent aggressiveness. You can raise any dog badly in order to use him as a "weapon" against other people. The only problem with staffs is that they are really strong and can hurt people badly, if they were brought up in a bad way.

But to be honest with you there are just as many dog attacks by other dog breeds.

  • @jeffries94 ya must be makin that up or just av mistreated ur staffy. staffys have no instinct in attacking humans, there like the freindliest and most loyal dog ya can have.

  • a know, but this sort of dog will attack anything if it is feeling intimidated is what i mean, and no i am not making it up :)

but think about it, a dog like this, which is a natural born predator with jaws tht lock. i mean they are nice and all but if u cross it badly it will attack, do you get me, im not saying there bad only when provoced if you get my meaning :S

  • im sorry, but staffys are very very hard to get provoked, they are one of the most courageous breeds available, so in order for it to attack you you would have had to hurt it enough to make instinct tell it to attack, staffies have a strong affinity for humans

  • @jeffries94 tru bwt the bad breeding and yh if provoked it will attack and has the power to do damage. it has a powerful jaw but it wont lock (its a myth).

  • got couple of things to say staffys have never attacked a human apart from if its a crossbred with pitbull and they dont have lock jaw they are the best family dog u can get

  • jeffries94 .... Hahaha, staffies and dogs in general are not predators in any way, if you want a predator, look up some large dangerous wolves or something like that. And no, no dogs can lock their jaws either, its been proven anatomically impossible and it is only a case of tenacity. Dogs like staffies have always been bred to be good with humans too by the way.

  • You know nothing about dogs and staffies...The "lock jaws" is just a myth!If his jaws was blocking everytime he bites something,he wouldn't be able to lose the branch.

  • jeffries94 i own a staffy and he sleeps with me, we have a baby and he sleeps under her basinet, always at my feet and only plays with his toys, most loyal dog ever, so tame and loves humans.. they only get violent when they are crossed with pitbulls or been trained to attack as a pup.

  • @nekooms i diss agree pitbulls arnt bad dogs i know many peaple that have staff cross pits but are registerd as staffs so thay dont get put down iv known vets that know that thay are crossed but would gladly register them as staffs and IMO thay do write

what about nippy jack russles and poodles iv seen them atack folk but thay donts get banned

  • @imanglo i read that staffys are really gd for rehoming as dognappers target them and i also read that most staffy attacks reported wer actually pitbulls that people wer claiming wer staffys

  • why would anyone need to dognap a staf when the rescue kennels cant put them down quick enough? dont take my word for it, check out battersea dogs home and see for yourself. they are overun with staffs... i wonde why?

  • because idiots cnt look after wht thy got thas y,,its all fun whn thr pups bt as soon as thy get older thy dnt wnt thm.thr nice dogs i have 2 nd thy wudnt hurt anybdy or any thing, thy are wht u make thm

  • Do you always believe what the media tells you?

  • @juggnaughtjoe no !

  • Go back to reading the dailymail, you know fuck all about these dogs so why comment?????

  • You can learn more about this breed here

    realpitbull(dot)com

    pbrc(dot)net

    badrap(dot)org/rescue

    pitbull-chat(dot)com

    pitbullforum(dot)com

I prefer pitbull-chat but pitbullforum is just as good, Both full of educated people who own/live/KNOW this breed like the back of there hand. Many of who'm wiill die for this breed.

  • what a mad dog, i have a staffy too

  • total lolage

  • I know one staffy who won't hang from a tree, but he'll shred any branch lying on the ground ...he's too lazy to jump up like that :D

  • wot is it with staffies and trees my 1 didnt ave to be taught to do it n she made such a rackett that residents near by came out to c wot was going on cos they thought a cat was being mauled.lol once she's started its hard to stop her

  • awesome ... mine makes that sound n all wen hes on a tree its proper funny... beautiful dog btw :) x

  • OMG is he determinated to cut the branch!

  • now that was funny!! My dog does the same thing with his stuffed toy, but yours is much funnier...

  • hahah ma staff does the same fing

  • Jajajajajajaajajjajajajajjajaaj He made my day!!!

  • Can you please tell me how you get your dog to do this, ive tried lots of different things and my dog just wont do it !!!! thanks

  • start with tug of war with a stick then hold the stick stick up a bit extra height at a time for the dog to jump & catch it, whilst each time using the same command to get the stick. Once the dog obliges doing this then use the same command for branches low enough for dog to jump up & hang from always encouraging and praising it for doing so and then it will become something it wants to always do. When training to get the tree always take to same branch to begin so it remembers what you want

  • My staffy does the exact same thing and makes the exact same sound - I have endless videos of him doing it - best breed in the world.

  • sounds like my dog when you lift her off the ground in tug o war...she never lets go lol

  • thats a staff allover, hours of hilarity, i couldnt be without one of these dogs there truely amazing, almost human!

  • i have a pit/boxer he has the body of a pit but the mind of a boxer not obedient at all im tryign to reduce on the treats tho using them more purpofully he has such bag adhd i dont live anywhere nere mountains so haha my arera makes it really hard to train him but thanks for the info and ill put it to mind thanks for replying

  • beautiful dog man howd you get him so buff?

  • Thanks- I feed him complete dries food- no tinned stuff and he does not get treats.

Keep him active with long walks and climbing in the Scottish mountains and throw a kong rubber toy about. Also as is not castrated he has retained his definition.

  • What a lovley coloured staff, he gawgjus!

  • My Stafford started off hanging on the curtains when they swayed with wind but then she progressed to branches. To stop her attacking trees all the time I used to get her lead and loop round a stick and then hang it up, she used to swing for ages. I lost her 4 years ago, she lived for near on 16 years. I still miss her. I have got two more now, who love playing tug of war but they are not interested in hanging, but they still are four wheel drive Staffies.

  • remembered to look grendal up after seeing you

totally nuts but made us laugh

  • love those sounds he makes, sounds like he could use a glass of water.

  • I had a black pit bull named Jake and he used to hang from a tire from a tree and swing back and forth for up to 20 minutes just swing and tuging in mid air it was so funny. We would spin him around and he loved it. Their such great dogs...

  • Ahahahaha!!!! What a legend dog!!! Soooo damn funny!!! Laugh out loud matterial

  • BTW.. I dont fight my dog.. She has play dates everday at a very good dog park with other pits, massifs, rodesian ridgebacks(misspelled, dobies, rotties, EBTs, Everbody monitors their dogs behavior. No whimper, no foul type of thing. Growling, vicious snapping not allowed, nobody wants at vet appointment.

  • whats wrong with that branch??hehe

  • What is with Staffs, ours is exactly the same!! Plus its always the same branch of the same tree !!!

  • BTW man you should build that dog a spring pole, google it or message me if you need instructions on how to build one for cheap, like 30 bucks and a trip to home depot.

I can tell your dog would love it, as most pit bulls do. It is similar to bull baiting in that they are hanging from the rope similar to how they would hang from a bull or bears nose hundreds of years ago -- so genetically it is a game they should love.

Will tire your doggie out and is great fun to them.

Let me kno if you try

  • How old are your dogs. Mainly the one jumping. I got a 11 month old, she game for all kind of shit but if aint a treat on the other end then she aint jumpin for it. I also cant get her to lock on any ropes. She'll lock on another dog but wont lock on to nuttin else. Even when playin tug of war, its like she loses interest. But get her rollin around with another dog and its like christmas to her. How do I get her to show that type of interest into a rope or spring pole?

  • sorry bud, I have been offline for too long. She is a bitch and like women, well you cant rule theam, they know what hey want and will doi what they have to, to get what they want. Your wasting your time trying to get a bitch to swing if she has not so far. A dog on the other hand are all brawn and no brains. Alll they want is you to think they are great and such they will be happy to please you.... The moral of the story? Keep dogs dude!

  • I agree...mostly!

  • Haha beautiful dog, funny video.

  • CONGRATULATIONS

  • thats F#*ken awsome dude

  • Haha, he looks like he's having fun. :)

  • Staffies are the best, what a nice dog I love brindles and reds

  • what do u feed him

  • He gets dried food- called supadog adult bought from pets at home mixed with gravy

  • don t worry

  • why aint u hit me back on frinds

  • sorry? what do you mean?

  • do u know what age they get lock on jaws

  • Lock Jaw can happen to any dog but only if they have contracted Tetnus from bacteria. lockjaw is a disease.staffords do tend to grip and hold when they bite but they can release. They just tend not to want to because they are stubborn pedantict beggars.

The staff has emense power in their jaw (bred in to them to fight)and its this power which has gave the myth its credibility as when they grip- as you can see in this video- they grip!

  • hi great looking stafford finally some one knows the truth about the lock jaw myth every one seems to think they have lock jaw and cant let go a dog that does not let go simply does not want too.

  • Yeah its just a myth, it is a APBT / SPBT dedication, gameness and strength that lets them keep hold onto the object, their jaw works the same as any other dog.

They just have such dedication to whatever they are doing, if they dont want to let go they wont.

<3 Pitties, all types. Awesome dog

  • hi angain do u know what age they get lock on jaws

  • omg haha

    that is soo cute !!

    hes so smart

  • thx for answering question love the dog how much does he wight

  • just now he is 26.5 kilos- he goes down to 25 kilos in the summer when he is hyper and running arounda all the time.
