bro.. do u thing if it's possible to live in thailand as music teacher..or jazz musician,,,. I've always dream in living there.. but the thing is that I dont speak thai...
@MrParangaricutirimi I am not sure about music didnt really look into it. Yes I think it's possible. I would try and contact people who have done or are doing it. To go get some more info on it. Speaking thai is not that big it would help, but you don't need it. Make a effort to learn especially if you want to live there long term.
@JubrilAgoro thanks man!! .. really appreciate this info.. I'm going to thailand on my next vacations.. and see how's the climate there... then see if it's possible to stay there without the idiom...
@MrParangaricutirimi I've heard of English teachers that were told to teach math or sport so I don't see any reason why you should find a music teaching job... however, you should have at least a bachelor degree, if not a master.
Haha, I know we're the BlacK "Lion" Kings but you and the Tiger scene was real brave, bro. Anyway, I think your travelling vids are more detailed and helpful for all compared others I've viewed. And I'm also looking to hit South-East Asia very soon and I was wondering if you've been to the Philippines as well? (London, UK) Thanks Jubril
hi mate, just seen a couple of your videos and they look amazing! im going with my friend to travel Malaysia,Singapore,Bangkok in June/July. I just wanted to know, is it better to by hotels in advance on the internet or should we just rock up and try to find a good deal? Also were not sure whether we want a hotel or a hostel. whats your opinion?? THANKS!
@kadelac Bangkok generally better to book in advance. For better rates. Outside of bangkok I have found better rates just walking up to places etc. It depends really. I would always check both if you can. For example some hotels I stayed where $20 a night online but booking at door $50 a night. Just depends on the place.
@Supplementreviewdude NO , I paid about 1000 baht from bangkok to chiang mai in second class sleeper which is $33 that is 12 hour train ride it not bad all in sleeper. You get power outlets and order food. Most westerner do this option or you do first class which is 2000 baht i believe. Or can third class which is like 200 baht or something
Hey man, wooow you look like you've had some amazing experiences!! I want to travel South East Asia!! Where was that places on the vid at 4:18? I soooooo wanna go!!
@JubrilAgoro Man! I'm on my way bro! I plan on doing the same thing you're doing. I get out of the Army in April and I'm gone! I will def be hitting you up!!!
Man, this is such a nice video!! I am honored that you included me in the "cool people you met along the way!" Watching this now just makes me want to travel again immediately! It would sure be great to travel around with you again bro, keep it real and blessings from North Dakota!
I love this video you really need to be on man vs wild for laying with that tiger that blew me away. I'm more than delighted that I subscribed to your channel your the best. I would love to meet you one day.
Thanks for getting back and you are so right. I lived in the DR for two years with my family when I was younger and I did realized that although Dominicans tend to be racist towards darker skin people most of them were kool once they got to know us. You are right a lot of times it is ignorance that breed fear. I told my friend about your channel cus she travels a lot just like you. Funny enough she was in Thailand same time as you. My friend is black and her two friends are white from TO
OMG! That video with the tiger is priceless. How many people can say they chilled with a tiger? You are truly an inspiration. Some people would say that "ballin" and buying material things is an example of "living life." THIS, my friend, is what living life is all about. Exposing yourself to cultures and things you can't experience in your own backyard. My mom worked for the airline so I had the opportunity to do a lot of international traveling in my life. I need to do more as an adult.
@lisa3876 yea the tiger was priceless I was sweating crazy..... I would never do it again though lol.. Yes it is a lot of fun and thanks for checking the video. Hopefully I see you somewhere around the world, in 214 sometime soon.
Nice post. Jubril with all the negative stereotypes that people around the world tend to perceive about black men did you experience any overt or covert racism in any of these places. many of us blacks have the notion that Asians do not like black people. What are your thoughts or opinions.
@72onnxy Man I had once racist moment that stood out for me.. Over than that I had time of my life. I smile a lot so it helps break the ice. As you can see I am black as they come so sterotypes would be all with me. When people got to know me man they are like o you different that I thought. The thing is most have never had conversation with black people. All they go is what they see on tv, and media etc. I can't even blame them. We all raised to believe certain things.
cool video ..thx

@72onnxy I really can't understand Dominicans being racit when most of them are dark and have African blood running through their veins.
