and for all the narrow minded people, I am an Indian with no hatred for Obama, Bush, democrats, republicans, blacks, whites, hindus, muslims or anyone. I am just concerned and I believe the only way ths concern can be resolved is by accepting that we have lots of problems and trying to tackle them.... We havent survived because of our parliament, we have survived inspite of the parliament. We still have people with big hearts who vote the same leaders again and again

He talks abt updates on cell phones for farmers, what abt the suicides? What abt the CRPF jawans who died while trying to take down the naxals? What abt the Kashmir situation caused due to the Indians? He tries to be one of those leaders who just wants to talk abt the positive in the country and in a country like India where currently the negativity overshadows the positivity by a large margin.
He is "His Excellency" because he himself declaired him self a ruler and not a leader. "My administration will be ready to rule from day one" Not to lead but to rule.
Overall a good speech. Most economists agree that the two countries can benefit in the billions with more open trade, so I'm glad to see this fact being realized.
As for the UN Security Council... good to know he supports India as a permanent member, but the real question is if he'll actually do anything about it. Japan's bid to get be a permanent member ended unsuccessfully, so let's see if this happens.
And lastly, Obama shouldn't have said "prosperous" Pakistan; seems that didn't sit well.
@bvssrs I agree. We should thankful to Obama who visited India and promised Permanent Seat at the security. After Kennedy . America became Pro Pakistan and being pro- Pakistan what USA got? - Terrorism . and spreading terrorism in Indian integral part Kashmir, World just recognize now that where terrorists been trained and they do need India. Indians are pece loving and kind people . If someone don't like Obama it does not mean people need to diss India or Indians. Bush was best friend too

It sure would be nice if we had a president who said good things about America and it's constitution like Obama says about other countries.
