,,Jeżeli wszystkie ideały szczęścia, które świat ma do zaoferowania nie mogą wypełnić pustki, którą odczuwam to co, albo kto może?. On również szukał swojej prawdziwej osobowości, ponieważ zdał sobie sprawę, że miesza swoją artystyczną osobowość, gwiazdę, którą był i to jak ludzie go postrzegali z prawdziwym sobą, więc on pytał ,,Kim jestem? Czy jestem tym kim myślę, że jestem? Jestem tym co ludzie myślą i mówią o mnie?

i nadeszło pytanie ,,Kto może mi powiedzieć, kim jestem? Kto ma prawdziwe odpowiedzi na moje pytania?.

Minęło kilka miesięcy i on zauważył, że tak naprawdę nie ma prawdziwych przyjaciół. Był bardzo samotny i popadł w głęboki ból i jego wewnętrzna pustka była tak wielka, że wolał umrzeć niż wciąż żyć w takim stanie, to wtedy rozpacz zaczęła wpełzać w jego myśli i samobójstwo prezentowało się jako jedyne wyjście. Jego egzystencja nie miała już sensu, pomyśl

Pewnej nocy jego smutek był tak gorzki i ciemność tak wielka, że uległ pokusie, aby zakończyć swoje duchowe cierpienie odbierając sobie życie. Więc wszedł na ostatnie piętro wysokiego budynku i otworzył okno wszedł na to okno i stał tam patrząc w dół przez moment chcąc skoczyć. I w obliczu śmierci, nagle życie stało się ważne, poczuł wewnętrzny głos, mówiący mu: ,,Zaczekaj!, Zaczekaj! Nie skacz!. Więc zszedł z okna i gorzko zapłakał, żałując takiej próby.

Uklęknijmy teraz na moment modlitwy w milczeniu za tych, którzy są kuszeni i za tych, którzy odebrali sobie życie w taki sposób i również za rodziny i za przyjaciół, którzy cierpią z powodu samobójstwa.  Bóg tam był. Bóg tam był i dał mu iskrę nadziei, której potrzebował. Zaczął czytać Bibl

Każdego dnia czytał kilka stron Ewangelii. Ale interesował się również tym co inne religie mają do powiedzenia. Tak, więc kupił Koran i zaczął wypytywać pewnego Chińczyka, którego znał o wierzenia Azjatyckie. Jednak to z Ewangelią czuł się jak w domu, ponieważ ta osoba zwana Jezusem uderzyła go jak ktoś wciąż żywy, nie jakaś tam historyczna figura, jakiś legendarny prorok z przeszłości, ale ktoś kogo słowa i gesty przemawiały do niego dzisiaj.

Zdecydował się poszukać pomocy i nie wiedząc komu zaufać poszedł do psychoterapeuty, który pomagał uzależnionym narkomanom dzieciom z problemami i ludziom z depresją i zaczął cotygodniową terapię, która trwała około półtora roku. On wiedział, że nie jest psychicznie chory, ale chciał zapłacić komuś za obiektywne wysłuchanie go, żeby dotrzeć do korzeni tych problemów.

If everyone that thinks about suicide or had bad luck in love would enter monasteries there wouldn't be monasteries enough in the planet. It's funny how someone that had everything due to fans blame them for his misery... As well as it is funny to see a monk saying that he thought that his meaning for life was to make others happy but that it wasn't. (?!) Why are we all here then, to look only for ourselves? So many contradictions in one single person...

@YouAreLost2 ...Everyone has a different path, and not all are called to enter monasteries. Paddy's path, had him feeling as if he should please others, or bring them joy with his music, but found it was not creating the impact he desired. Now, he still has the same desire to help, but for him, it feels more effective, more far-reaching. I am sure he does not blame his fans, but reached his own crossroads. Not all are called to a monk's life, but rather, a devout life in God, in everyday life.

@creatornat How... long time since I wrote here. Anyway, you say he doesn't blame his former fans? Well, you should listen to the whole "testimony" before saying that. Anyway, I really don't give a damn about what this guy decided to do with his life I just think the things he claims are stupid.

It was his last command and it seems you find that hard to grasp. Selling CDS?? When you buy a Cdof a pop group, do you get it for nothing?

@creatornat That whole testimony looks to me like a big joke and pure propaganda, something like "Hey, I'm the new St. Francis of Assis! Come and join the Catholic Church because me, being rich and famous like I was, also did!" People shouldn't turn to the Church because some singing famous monk did it and he should know that. What it seems to me is that he enjoys fame he just doesn't enjoy the bad things fame bring along.

@YouAreLost2 why should they not turn to the church becasue of a singing monk? is there a ceratin path you should follow to join the church. No! there is not. prayer is in everything. singing speaking doing etc. And if you believe yoursel to be Christian, well, it does not look that way. remember the apostles they gave up up all. Listen to this testimony. He was a heartbroken young man searching for the meaning of life. And he now bleieves he has found it.

Look, I don't only believe myself to be a Christian, I'm a cathequist... you know what that is? I don't use singing monks to atract kids to God, I use Jesus!!! He, alone, is the way. @creatornat He should know better dough, because life is like a coin, it has 2 sides, and so it is with everything that happens along it. Now he can do what he likes (sing) and not be "disturbed" by fans because noone can reach him because of his "position"... lol, way to go boy! Look, the thing is, as a Catholic myself I could never aprove this sort of behaviour. I have nothing against the guy I just don't aprove what he does, he's a "bad example".

@YouAreLost2 ...I am new to the singer, sorry you feel the way you do. I have not been affected in this way by what he says, as of yet. Regardless of where he is spiritually, or may be, my love for Christ and being a Catholic continues as before. If you have concerns for any poor direction he may be leading people, perhaps you should pray for him. We all need the prayer of others, after all. God Bless, N

@creatornat The thing is, I don't really feel anything, it's just an objective observation. I don't doubt that he loves Jesus and wants to do what is right but having in mind his testimony... it's just too weird. And just to make things clear, I'm not a fan! ;) That's why I said it was an objective observation. I think people must be lead to God because they want to do it and not because some famous person did it. He's a human being like any other and should behave that way.

@creatornat But he is also famous... what gives him a biger responsability. To me this really sounds like propaganda and I don't like that. People roam to the places where he gives "concerts" to see him, not to reach God. Of course, not all of them but still... And going around asking the fans he first accused for money for a CD... come on... Anyway, I can't say he's particularly in my prayers but I do pray for most everyone in general. If he chosed to be a monk he should live like one, simple. These guys need to survive? Of course they do, how many monasteries are there in the world? How many use former famous people to earn money? But not in medieval times. he is like all modern monks. Thay appear now and again an integrrate into the modern way of life. If you don't agree with what he is doing. FIne. i think what he is doing is admirable. After what he went through it is good that he has found God and decided to dedicate himself to Him.

Nevertheless Peter still had boats and nets to cast, when he was trying to cath fish. Jesus told him, Cast your nets to the right side. JPM was known as Paddy Kelly a fromer Pop star who realised that was not he wanted to do. Similar to John Michael Talbot. Who sells cds dvds books etc. These people need to survive just like us.

If you don't know what a Catechist is and does, it's your problem, not mine, yet yes, I do teach and guide kids towards Jesus, that's what a Catechist does, I don't have to be consacrated to do God's work and a consacrated person doesn't serves Him better then a lay one, if you do think so it's because you see consacrated persons as if they were in some sort of privileged position, which is WRONG!
