@NeutralExistence There aint no scary government. In the last 10-15 years it has been pretty much replaced by a capitalistic system. Its nothing like it used to be. What does show is the single-party system. But tbh most dont give a shit. You have 2 parties.. yeah big difference indeed (sarcasm) and both are just 2 sides of the same coin. And while YT is OFFICIALLY blocked in China there are identical Chinese sites for the same purpose (plus YT loads slow in China). However you can get access to Youtube or any other supposedly blocked site no problem. Just because someone says 'dont go there and dont do that' doesnt really stop anyone from doing it. Think about it.

@earl70305 不要以五十步笑百步，你们的网络不被管控吗？网络控制全世界都存在，全世界最提倡民主、言论自由的西方国家也是如此。两岸贪官具体比例我也不知道到底怎么样，争论贪官台湾多几个还是大陆多几个没意义，如果要做到真正的廉洁政府，请看看新加坡。看待大陆请用平常心去看待，抗战和国共内战后，留给中国大陆的是一个什么摊子？全国的钱几乎都被蒋介石带到了台湾，而且长时间的兵荒马乱，大多数的人都没文化。所以如果当时就像发达国家一样实行美国所提倡的自有开放民主的社会，你觉得当时的中国人接受的了这种不同思想文化、价值观冲击吗？ 如果当时按照欧美等西方国家的要求来做，全盘西化。今天的中国就是今天的菲律宾和印度。
中国现在确实很多地方需要进步、改善，政府也在重视推动建立民主自由的国家，也在政治体制改革。
如果你有机会有时间的话来大陆走走逛逛，多了解一下。真正的大陆没有央视说的这么好，也没有你们有些电视台说的那么差。最后还是要说下，台湾的政治真的不是真正的民主。这次宋楚瑜出来选，希望能三足鼎立。进一步推动台湾的民主进步。至于大陆，实在太大，环境很复杂。要给他多点时间。至少现在看来是在往好的方向发展。
