Don't be hatin' on the IB, jealousy is an ugly thing.
I'm really not sure why a voice was required for this presentation, all of what you said was on your powerpoint. Most people are able to read and thus your narration was unnecessary. Not only does it make the presentation tedious, but it also makes it look like you have no real clue as to what you're talking about...which I suspect is true anyway.
@leopoldleoleo I agree wholeheartedly. Are these not the requirements for the future leaders of the world to adapt and change for the better? Are these not skills that are vital to humanity as a whole, in terms of compassion and understanding across all social, political, economic, and racial borders?
Excellent presentation. We are sharing this with our local school officials and local news papers. Most of all, we are sharing with our neighbors and friends to understand and share them again.
@dubyawhy Pease through disarmament leaves us open for attack. Our Government's job through the Constitution is to provide for the common defense. Sustainable Development is exactly what the video said, didn't you watch? It is anti-personal property. We are also not Global Citizens. Human beings are essentially tribal, and no UN Charter will ever change that. You are trying to fight human nature.
IB is a terrible program- the expense of it alone is extreme- Brainwashing at its best- being a parent in a PYP school- I am working to get my kids in private school for the simple fact PYP is dominating the school- Attitudes and behaviors of tolerence, caring, risk-taker are being forced on our kids- not fundamentals of education- You know what you are suppose to get at school! This social crap is wasting my kids time- Teach my kids fundamentals not how to be a global citizen
@MsKittenCaboodle Personally, through IB, I've learned so many things more important than the fundamentals. Long after how mathematical induction with trigonometric summations stops making sense, I can still think for myself. I can still see where the other perspective is coming from. I aspire to be more than a robot of the stagnant future who only has the capacity for the fundamentals.
Your brainwashing has taken hold completely openintellect and everagej. You will be very usefull to the New World Order. Welcome to slavery, androids.
@SamuelAdams1722 The qualities that are described within your presentation would be qualities that I value in a human being. That's "human being," not just "American." There's a self-centered quality to your statements that don't take into account the true essence of humans: it is within our interactions with ourselves and our surroundings that are important. And if compassion and humanity and understanding makes IB children Un-American, let us be Un-American.
Lots of BS! THe IB is an excellent program teaching students to first become DECENT human beings. The speaker is portraying america as a power hungry monopolyzing unit (which is true) but is doing so without any thought. That 4 th grade perspective was crap too. THe IB is an excellent program designed to truly make us think about what is important in this world. It encourages creativity, open mindedness and most importantly independent analytical thinking.
Define what exactly is "American". There are many Americans who are concerned about global warming, social justice, the environment, and etc... are these individuals Un-American? Were the Civil Rights Movement, the Labor Movement, and the Women Rights Movement Un-American activities? If you believe in the sovereignty of the U.S., fine. However, I doubt social justice, standing up for human rights, and taking care of our environment is Un-American. It is the responsible thing to do.
You have not answered my question. So, I repeat. What is your solution or alternative to the IB? Stop being a youtube gangster and hurling insults and just answer the question instead of wasting time complaining and offering no solutions or alternatives to the problem. That was the point of my post. If you don't like what is happening offer a solution instead of getting on your soapbox and complaining and then insulting others when they put you on the spot to provide an alternative.
So, if we are sovereign and want others out of our affairs, how do you suggest that we resolve our issues of pollution, environmental exploitation, poverty, and engage the global world without destroying our sovereignty? I don't like your video b/c you present no logical alternatives/solutions. You just complain and you make Americans seem as if we do not care about issues of global warming, environmental preservation, social justice, and etc..., which many of us do.
@everagej What you are regurgitating is the nonsense that has been pumped into your empty head by popular culture and which bears no resemblance to the truth. You obviously have never examined any dissenting opinions because if you had then you would realize that what you utter is gibberish. Unfortunately you have lost the ability to think for yourself which is exactly what the IB is designed to do. Now feel free to go join the other sheep and ignore this video.
@SamuelAdams1722 Dude, I don't think you really know who is regurgitating nonsense here. Your argument lacks continuity and any main points. In fact it seemed to me that your video implied that the "American" ideology has no room for peace, environmental health, social justice or for world cooperation. And before you say I was "Brainwashed" I would like you to know that there is no black and white, or good vs. evil here.
Or, are you simply saying that the nation should be sovereign and it is up to the people in that nation to decide what should be done to resolve its own issues. If this is the case then you could first encourage the U.S. gov't to allow other nations to do the same. Also, we don't live on the planet called the U.S., we must consider that we live on the planet Earth and we must be mindful what we do does not only impact us, but others in the world (i.e. pollution).

I am sorry but UN is not trust worthy group at all.
That is the reason Dr. Paul wanted US out of UN support.
Here is Dr. Paul's study result for UN with John Birch Society.
