  • Great channel, loved your videos. Keep up the great work!

  • smth really useful...

  • Why they didn't use a fiber optic cable instead of inventing a new cable. Just a thought.

  • @rclawitw

i think they only send small data really quick.

  • i have the hdmi 1,4 cable but my blue ray gives a unknown signal error when i put it on 1080p/24, but plays normal on 1080p/60. Can someone help me with this HD stuff.

  • @munguntulga Is it your BluRay, or your TV giving the error? Your TV might not be able to handle 1080p/24 format.

  • ok i need some help i have a onkyo 507 receiver and i am looking to buy a samsung LED 3D TV ,now my receiver only puts out 1.3 hdmi speed not 1.4 will i still be able to watch a 3D movie on 1.3 or do i need to go out and rebuy a whole new receiver all over again,if so my luck of geitng a 3D TV IS slim to none because the samsung LED 3D TV is 1.4 not 1.3 hdmi cable so what is it please help me .

  • @joseph10704 From what I understand, you'll have to get a new receiver. Onkyo recently released the TX-SR608 which is 3D ready and has six HDMI ports. I found Buy.com, Newegg.com, and Amazon.com to be great places to look for them.

  • @tetrissmalls but here the deal my bose spearkers are 5.1 is this receiver 5.1 or 7.1 if so i dont think it will work on my bose speakers then.

  • @joseph10704 The TX-SR608 is actually a 7.2 system. From what I've read, many people only use 5.1 those kinds of systems anyway, unless they have a very large room where they can take advantage of the extra speakers.

I'm not a big audiophile, and can't say that your speakers will work with the system, you may need to talk with Onkyo about that. I know in the past, Bose made a lot of proprietary stuff, so things didn't match up easily with other products. Let me know what you find out, later!

  • @joseph10704

    your fine.

  • @joseph10704 Well, to get the 3D signal to your TV. You will need, HDMI 1.4 cables, a 3D Receiver/Home Theater and a 3D Blu-ray palyer or cable box. So.. yeah, your receiver will not work with a 3D TV. We have the same problem, I'm stock in 2D. I won't pay $400 or more on a new home theater.

  • @GranKnight87 well i found a why to fix this problem dude u take your 3D blu ray player and put that into the tv with the 1.4 HDMI cable then u take a fiberoptic cable and put that into the 3D blu ray player and then in to the receiver and boom u have 3D try it and let me know if it work's dude.

  • @joseph10704 Yes It works, but you won't get the 7.1 DTS-HD MA Lossless Audio with the fiberoptic cable and that's a HUGE deal for me. You know what I'm talking about?

  • @GranKnight87 i am trying to think what will work just t point out tho from a friend on yoututbe there is not a whole lot YET in form of 7.1 audio on blu ray ,i mean YES it is cool i mean i wish i had a 7.1 but i dont but still even tho u still cna watch 3D now buddy and really i am so sure that ur happy now that u dont reallly need to buy a new receiver but ,the only thing i see for u getig 7.1 on 3D is YES buying a new receiver but really i say save your money my friend . just wait in time

  • @joseph10704

hi, how can i change the HDMI BLACK LEVEL from NORMAL to LOW?

    i have a UN55C7000 and the BD-C6900 with an M2000 HDMI

    thanx

  • thanks for the interview, it clears my doubt on 1.3 vs 1.4

  • If you need a cheap HDMI cable just search amazon dot com for one. I bought several at about $2 each (6 ft) and they work just as good as the $45 (3ft) cable I bought before I knew better.

  • Monster is blind robbery. Anything from poundstrecher will do the same job.

  • @dtsmucker Tell me about it...I want to choke the owner of Monster Cable with my 8' Monster THX 1000 Series HDMI cable which was $129.99. If the cops arrested me I would just tell them that fucking asshole stole my god damn money. If that cable could do more things than other HDMI cables...for example (it being able to cut other HDMI cables with an axe) then it would have been worth the money.

  • i still have 1.3 wtf...

  • hi can any one please tell me which is the best hdmi cable to buy for top picture quality for my panasonic pt ae4000 projector!!! the lenth i need is 15 metres (50ft) im really confused coz there are too many to choose from .i dont want to buy a hdmi cable and sppend so much money if it aint going to work!!... plz can any one help thanks

  • @supastauk cant go wrong with monster cables.

  • @supastauk There really is no best HDMI cable, Monster is a big ripoff.Trust me I have one, HDAV Cables by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 did the same picture quality as the Monster THX 1000 Series 8'foot. Microsoft AV Cable probably $50 and Monster Cable was $129.99. You can get a $13 HDMI Cable and it would probably do the same as a Monster HDMI picture quality and sound quality wise.Cable quality wouldn't be great. JUST GO FOR A SONY HDMI cable if you want quality, with metal shielding around...

  • @TooleralusAEnima ..around the cable if you have any pets or kids. That will prevent the cable from getting ripped apart.6' Sony HDMI cable with up to 1080p 48-bit color 240Hz with up to 7.1 lossless sound signal for home theater sets. For $40 at Wal-mart stores and the 12' Sony HDMI will probably be $20 more.If you want bigger lengths you can only find them in their online website.Since Best Buy doesn't carry them, because MONSTER CABLE paid BEST BUY and FRY"S ELECTRONICS not to sell other HDMI

  • very informative!! great!!

  • i like the tone of this guy!

  • I would love to by a 2k resolution for my home theater! 3d seems to be coming back, but i can't see stereo vision so whats the point in 3d?

  • 4K x 2K is a long ways off from Mainstream even though Toshiba just released that Cell TV thats capable of upconverting lower resolutions to that but upcons are never as good as native. Plus there is much if not any consumer source material thats available at those resolutions that I'm aware of
