The moment at 2:40 is a perfect example of set up and delivery. I saw this show twice and that moment got the biggest laugh in the show both times... totally brilliant staging.
Well, it WAS opening night for the first preview of the show. And the movie the show was based on has been out for years; maybe she was a little nervous about how the original actress would like her performance.
The part of Ursula didn't do Sherie justice! Don't get me wrong; she was a GREAT Ursula while the show lasted. But the part didn't suit her as well as, say, Christine, for example. Or her character in Aida.
I love her jump at the end!
