So, you can become a vampire THEN a werewolf and lose your vampirism, or cure your lycanthropy then become a vampire. However, you can't be both at the same time, which is what you were probably asking about in the first place.

You have to drink blood on a regular basis or else you get to stage 4 vampire and people hate you. The only way to get out of being stage four (if your at it) you must drink blood! You powers and weaknesses increase as you go up every stage; once you have blood, all the powers and weaknesses recede and it's an infinite loop. You dont permanently stay stage four.

@mailmanownz You must go to Falkreath, find Falion and talk to him. Tell him you heard that he was a vampire expert. Tell him you need a cure, and then he will say that you need a black soul gem that is filled. You can buy the soul gem from him but its empty. You have to purchase the soul trap spell from him. Equip it, then go to fort Snowhawk cast the spell on a necromancer and kill him. Once the soul is there go back to Falion. Also you have to be a lvl 3 vampire not 4.

Why did they have to screw such game with no practical hot keying? You have to open your inventory multiple times hitting 2 keys during a fight which ruins everything about it. I hope they fix this with a patch to make the game more dynamic.

@avrambrankovich You can hotkey items. There was no need for him to open up so many menus. I for inventory, would've been quicker. Also, favourite it and then bind it to a number. 1 button, just like previous Elder Scrolls games. It's just not explained very well (or at all) in the game or manual.

@squashbrain09 no you have to get into a fight with a vampire its the only way, and the vampire perks are as followed .. 25% sneak bonus, Night vision, Invisibility + Night vision combo, Vampire drain which is a magic attack wear you can steal your enemies health, you can summon a zombie to fight for you, bonus to frost resistance, 100% resistance to disease and poison ... the downside effects are weakness to fire and in the daylight your health magicka and stamina dont regenerate

@bossyone522 Yes, the companions are Werewolf's, you get to become one after a few missions and at end you get to remove it.

@bossyone522 There is no "war" between the two. No werewolves are in the game unless quest related, as in you won't find one just wondering or in a random dungeon. The Circle is a faction within the companions. Only those of the circle are werewolves. Just keep doing quests for them until they offer being a werewolf to you. You CAN become a vampire by fighting them and contracting a disease. Three days later you WILL become a vampire unless you cure it with a potion or magic.
