  • It also works with two 47k ohm resistors on the data lines and i think it works better with the 47k ohms resistors

  • Thank you so much! :)

  • I got the same setup without the led. The only thing I added was a 100k resistor between the data pins and it works fine. Is this ok?

  • I thaught you had to have the resistors on the positive side?

  • I have 100k 1/2 watts. I tried that first it's brown black yellow. Then I tried 100k 1/4 watts and that didnt work ether (they were also brown black yellow.

  • Hey I tried to make it but I didn't work. The light pops on but when I put my iPod in nothing happen. I tried my DS and that worked. I did every thing u said in the video.

  • @kphan000 Hey, sorry about your problem. My suggestion is to check that you have the right resistor values. iPods only work with 100k resistors, it's how they are built

  • well done

  • Nice Voice..

  • Could you use a 9v battery if you wanted to make a portable iPod charger?

  • @sapex72 no a 9v has 9 volts so it would burn out resistors or your divice

  • Is it important to use 100 Ohm resistors or can you also just connect the positive with the usb pins?

  • @dofmann1 100k resistors are only required for charging iPods

  • you sound like annoying orange

  • @major9985 Anytime, Thanks
