For the tiny amount you are using and the short time it is applied there is no worry. Once the rubber cement has dried after about thirty to sixty seconds you aren't even aware that it is there.

Not tape but you're close, there are two things you can use, Elmers glue stick or rubber cement. Experiment with both and see which one works best for you

i think i have it, you have glue or hairspray or something sticky on your neck or the floss and when you put your head down the skin on your neck pinches the floss, creating the illusion that the floss is inside your skin. Am I right?

Yes you are. Now all you have to do is figure out what it is that I put on my neck that is totally invisible even upon close inspection. Hint, it's a common product you can pick up at any hardware store.

Your guesses are good. Here a a couple of hints. The string is an unprepared piece of dental floss. I prefer mint flavored, and there is something invisible involved but it's not tape. You guys are on the right track
