sure! It's very easy, there's only 3 chords really used in the song for the core base of it. It's also played one half step down in E flat... reading the scales as normal it starts out in E... switches to A... switch to B (variation is a bar on 2nd fret with D G and B strings on 4th fret)....then back to E. Chorus is the same cept the order is E, B, A, E. :) hope that helps!

technically speaking, there's no samples at all in the song. I guess you could say so in the drums, but even that's not truly a sample. A good example of someone using samples is when Kid Rock takes a riff from a song, puts it on repeat, then puts his own words over it. This is a basic example defining what we consider to be samples.
