The five factors that cause evolution are why we're intelligent. They are: Crossing Over (genetics term), genetic drift, mutation, sexual preference, and natural selection. These things are happening all of the time which leads to speciation and thus new species. Take that and about 3-4 billion years of time (which is such a long period of time that makes it nearly impossible to even fathom) and you'll know why humans are not from 'intelligent design'.

You claim its a "Crutch" yet you use the exact example of Faith in nothing. you have FAITH that there is nothing out there more so than Christians have to have Faith in God. Your argument has been refuted a hundred times over, just look through some of the videos, tuns of people have explained it clearly and concisely. Research logical reasoning and the burden of proof. @88DriftKid88 The answer to the question: Prove atheism is correct? Replace atheism with antitheism and you have a valid question. Look up the difference. What proves there ISN'T a God? Nothing. What proves that there MOST LIKELY isn't a God? Every scientific discovery in history. Can you PROVE atheism is correct? No. But from a logical standpoint, it holds more water than Christianity. Is that a sufficient answer for you?

@jjjmanyo there are hundreds of discoveries that point DIRECTLY to a creator. some of the leading minds of science, Hawking, Einstein, point and give reference to a greater entity of creation because let look at the odds. there is a 1 in 100,000,000,000^10 ( thats one hundred trillion raised to the tenth ) chance that earth would be positioned with exactly the axis, rotation, and orbit to sustain the perfection of supporting life. multiply that by at least 10 for its location...need i say more?

We only exist, because like you said, our planet is at the right size and distance from our star for it to be not too hot or too cold. But given the amount of stars and planets in the universe the chance that this could happen is a certainty. We are but one of those chances and yes I believe that there are millions of other earths.
