Chrysler turned Jeep into a weeny machine. Nothing but a money pit. Look at the aftermarket! Modify this, modify that. When will they reallize the average buyer wants the total package? Come on, whoop dee doo "i have a locker" doesn't stop those stamped control arms from bending,didn't stop the driveshaft from becoming toast. When are they going to reallize junk is just junk? Build it tough and to last, then your mechanics can do upkeep and not warranty issues.

@thebobbseytwins I've been waiting for this question. It's very hard to find it on the internet (Maybe on Milton Greene's site "archieveimages" ?) I found this rare photo in a book called "McQueen's Machines: The Cars and Bikes of a Hollywood Icon" (page 52), and I used my scanner. Very good book. And very good photos. This picture features a CJ Jeep with a Chevy V8, during the recon of the 69' Baja 500. No idea where the car is now, so bad...

Personally, I think this is waaay more effective than the mustang version. I thinks is so much better because its real footage of real people doing what Jeeps were made to do. But in all seriousness, awesome video. It makes me proud to have my '94 YJ wrangler.

@drewricomakeubu1 Because hockey is part of the american culture, as Jeep, rock'n'roll music, Steve McQueen, the Brooklyn Bridge, etc... The aim of the video is to associate Jeep to others "American Culture's Symbols", including (why not), hockey.

Actually this video was made from a Mustang commercial to become a Jeep commercial... which explain why you can find the Mustang emblem.

you see if companies such as jeep and ford and dodge would use stuff like this more poeple would but it. jeep is starting to but theres not many so far. i know for a fact that if ford saw what me and a buddy did in his 09 ford ranger within an hour of us driving off the lot they would shit a brick but if they used the video they would sell more lol. 09 ranger fx4 flying through tank trails on fort sill lol aint it great
