  • what would happen if u pointed that laser at some1s eyes? would their eyes literally burn or sizzle?

  • @dragonlasers how much dose it cost

  • @sjoren12345 prices vary depending on the laser. I suggest you go to w w w dragonlaser com and have a look

  • ima pop lil kids balloons from across the park muahahahah

  • that is weird because the lighter did not blow up...

  • Actually wheres the need of a lighter these days i mean, this is on batteries, with a bit more mw in the laser you'll be able to light your sigarets in no time ? =p

  • Are you based in China? I ask because i've had bad experiences with ordering things from China. (Them being fakes and all) Also, are shipping times extremely long??

  • @liljohn560 We are based in China and our lasers are genuine. Plenty of evidence online to verify this.

Shipping can take a while to some countries.

  • Dont the "crystal" eventully wear out?

  • @0Wolf0Braduz00 No. It is the diode in a laser that wears out and that can take years.

  • Candle sniping :D

  • a safer way to light up birthday cakes :)

  • i have a 1000mw from thailand, how strong coult i be? i understand that its not that good.

  • It can't be that strong. You have been ripped off.

  • lmfao... your the people who rip off the world with your expensive stupid lasers

  • Expensive? Yes, some are.

Stupid? No. Many people use them for work and others derive a lot of enjoyment from them.

  • @dragonlasers

WOW, love it, brilliant answer... lol!!!! What a joke, " many people use them for work" WHAT WORK??? The only Work involved is that of working hard to get the $300+ and ripping it up on you guys... LOL also, please tell me the exact "enjoyment" "people" experience as well.

  • For work, read some of the examples below

-scaring birds (local councils, pest controllers)

-non lethal dispersal (armed forces, police, security)

    -alignment (engineers, surveyers)

    -research (physicists, chemists, lab techs)

    -pointing (teachers, lecturers, presenters, astronomers)

As for enjoyment, ask some of the hundreds of people on youtube who enjoyed making and posting videos of their lasers here

    -

  • @dragonlasers So teachers and lecturers point with a 125mW laser which could set common household/clasroom objects on fire? . okay that was insightful

  • does a 100 mw laser reach far please tell me cause i might get one.

  • A good quality 100mW laser will normally have a range of at least 3-4 kilometers

  • my laser have 125mw

  • What should I buy for a first green laser from dragonlasers? I'm thinking about buying the spartan 200 mw but does that seem a bit big to you for a first laser?

  • Depends on your budget and how much you like lasers.

Some people would start with a 95mW VIper for an example then upgrade later if they want more power.

Other people go straight for a higher powered model and skip upgrading.

  • I have the same, but I can't use it so like the Video. Pleas help me. I dont understand why???

  • You need to use lithium AA batteries. Regular AA batteries only give about 5 minutes of burn time. Also, it can depend on the power (mW) of your laser.

  • I have the same, but I can't use it so like the Video. Pleas help me. I dont understand why???

  • i have a lser pointer but not these size the smaller ones were you lock them wiht your keys the small ones and they use those clock baterys, how do i make that type of laser burn am having hard time to disect it but i dont know how to make that laser burn please tell me

  • I got a laser like this rated at >95mw, though not from dragonlasers. I can't light matches at all with it. Even with a glass lens. Do you think it's under powered?

  • Yep its not what they said.

  • hehe what does that mean? direct beam?

  • Direct from the laser to the target as opposed to a reflected beam.

  • does it damage looking at the beam or the dot? Or does it just damage when pointing it in someones eye?

  • Direct beams and reflected beams to the eyes can both cause serious injuries.

  • Youdo realise the light from the sudden flash from the matches is harmful to your eyes right? It doesn/t BLIND YOU its just harmful XD

  • Umm you think the flash from an igniting match is more dangerous than the laser beam?

  • Of course not XD The flash is just harmful, not more than the beam but it still is

  • é ritmuuuuuuuuuuuuu é ritimu di festaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Wow. iv got some questions.

the "Viper Series 95mW Green Laser Pointer " is $199.99 and the 125mw is $299.99!

Its only a few mW and its like $100 more. Whats the diffrence. also can you give me a link for the 100mW plz. iv got a "True 100mW Green Laser" from Dealextreme and it wont light a cigeratee.

  • PM sent

  • That is insane. Can it burn other stuff like METAL or SKIN?

  • No. You need a lot more power than portable lasers have to burn metal

  • where did u get that laser??? i want one for inclass lol

  • From Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • What difference would you really say there is between the 95mW and 125mW.

Like is the beam much brighter?

Does it light matches/pop-balloons much faster?

The 95 goes for about 180 USD, where as the 125 goes for 300 USD. Close to twice the price.

    Thanks.

  • PM sent

  • i didnt know dragon lasers made a viper 100mW! i just bought the 95mW viper cant w8 to get it in the mail!!

  • I might buy one of the 95mw lasers but is there a lower wattage that can still pop balloons and light matches?

  • The 95mW Viper can easily pop balloons and light matches.

  • oh.Thanks.

  • hey how much is a laser like tht ?

    cuz i need 1 :]

  • A 95mw laser costs 200 and a 125mw laser costs 300. Out of curiosity, why do you need one?

  • so how much at least mw it need to burn a match.

  • You normally need at least 95mW laser such as the Viper 95mW to light a match.

  • oh.Thanks.

  • Are there any job opportunities I could take? Cause I'm looking for a first job, and these lasers fascinate me. We recently had a huge blast of fog, and the only laser I have is weak. But when I took it out in the fog, the beam was incredible! I would like to see what a 125mw laser can do.

  • can a 5mw hurt your eyes even if u dont point it in your eyes?

  • Not accidentally. You need prolonged deliberate close range exposure with a 5mW laser to cause any permanent damage.

  • i got a 250mw green laser pointer =P

  • From where? Did you test the output on a LPM?

  • I am going to buy a 100mW green laser pointer of ebay and the seller is a trusted seller he has sold 490 lasers on different mW's and all the comments say that the the power is real and it is what he says it is and he has tested them himself so should all 100mW lasers light matches? Because if all 100mW lasers light matches then i can tell if it is a fake or not.

  • Lighting matches is not a good test to see if a laser is fake because fake lasers use infrared to light matches.

Generally my advice would be to stay away from high powered lasers such as 100mW on ebay.

  • I just bought a $1800 Wicked lasers Spyder II GX it wont even light a match, it rips up balloons but wont light a match? Why? besides the fact that its Wicked lasers CRAP!!

  • No other reason. The Spyder II has a well deserved reputation for being a big waste of money.

Get a refund then buy a Hulk 400mW or a Spartan GW 250mW from Dragonlasers. Good quality products with much better value.

  • does it burn u if u shine it on ur skin?

  • It will sting after around a second but there will be no burns if you move out of the beam.

  • wut if u hold it ther?

  • It would definitely burn. No way to happen by accident though.

  • could it catch a piece of wood/paper on fire?

  • It will burn paper, it can catch paper on fire if you do it properly.

  • how do u make 5mW green laser burn?? plz tell me! thank you

  • The only way is to modify it which is not normally successful and will often destroy the laser.

  • how do u modify it? and do u know where to buy a 200mw burning laser (red) for a cheap price? in the uk? coz i found 1 in ebay for 17 pounds but it was already taken.

  • For modifying lasers, do a key word search. Plenty of information online.

I don't know where to buy a quality 200mW red laser for 17 pound.

  • a was lookin at the 125 mw viper and it seemed a lot of money and on the web site it doesnt showanything beeween 95and 125 and a would like a 110 is there any possibility u could send me a link

  • After the Viper 95mW, the cheapest higher power laser is the Viper 125mW.

If the viper 125mW seems like a lot of money, go for the viper 95mW. It can do most the burning tricks, has a great beam and is excellent value.

  • man thats a beautiful laser :D

  • Is it possible to get an instruction on how to make your laser become more powerfull, when I got it, it was allready lowered in strength.

  • Look up modding. Plenty of instructions online.

Be prepared to ruin your laser though if modding does not work.

  • I would recommend these lasers, there good quality and priced good. I would also recommend Nova lasers there great also.

  • iv bought a 100mW laser off ebay from hong kong, it says it burns matches and balloons who else has got one?

  • Be very careful of IR. Those lasers normally don't have IR filters. They also tend to melt when they get hot so try to use it intermittently so it can cool down.

  • me too but whats the problem ??

  • Lower than advertised power, too much IR light, modded, unstable etc etc

  • i have a 100mw laser... but i cant make it burn matches.. :(

  • Did you get it of ebay?

  • yes but i suppouse its because that 1 i havnt any strong batteries 2 my matches is a light color

  • could be the matches but knowing ebay laser sellers, its probably a problem with the laser.

  • Wheres the co. based that sells em?

  • Based in China. Pretty much all portable laser manufacturers are based in China.

  • OMG can that blind u instanlty?

  • Not that bad but they can cause some very serious damage to your eyes if you are not careful and use these lasers foolishly.

  • Hey how long do batteries last in them?

  • You'll normally get 20-30 minutes of full power.

  • thanks ,

  • DRAGONLASERRRR- please reply:

I have just bought a Spartan 200-250 MW of you! Could you please tell me how dangerous it is for human eyes, skin, radiation and so on... Please I cant find this info... please be honest...

    Thank you

  • Dude even the weak red laser ones can damage your eyes....

  • hey i have a 100mw green laser how come mine is not hot?

  • You probably have a underpowered poor quality laser. Many lasers are advertised as 100mW but are much lower.

  • imagine what that thing would do for skin or eyes it even may set your hair on FIRE TOO !!!

    COOOOOOOOOOOOL !!!

  • Lets light a match thats touching a matchbox

    Real smart dude

  • it not that smart besides the match would take a long time to burn down to the box

  • get a life

  • why are u a dick,its a awesome product

  • I mean get a life for saying ''don't light a match near a match box'' like it's gonna kill you! I'm not slating the product prick.

  • whatever ,fire marshall bill stfu

  • fag

  • snappy comeback

  • i wonder what would happen if u used a dragon laser on a magnifying glass?

  • You would increase the burning ability by concentrating the beam on a smaller point. just like sunlight only more effective.

  • where do u get those

  • Fron Dragonlasers at w w w . dragonlasers . com

  • hey fahoodi999 how did you do for write that like that. and I wanna know what did you write

  • cool now i can light my gas fires from a distance w00t

  • A translation anyone?

  • here is the translation, but makes no sence to me...

"Allyl example on face raved [aalde'ye']?"

  • Thanks for the translation

  • just kidding with my friend

  • lol don't vote this as -3... you ppl are so fucking stupid. Just copy it into word and put language "english".

this is what it means: You all suck fucking dick.

  • You have some serious issues Maarten

  • هذا مثل اللي على وجه الدعيع؟

    لول

  • I don't have experience on their lasers or even any feedback. I'm a little doubtful whether it will actually have an average power output of 100mW. Check their return policy to see if you can return it if it is under powered.

  • Lol after i read the Diode life time it said 5000 hours? is it worth $200 for 5000 hours of a green laser hmmmm lemme think about it YES ITS WORTH IT XD

  • Using it an hour a day will give you at least 13 years of use. Not bad for something that cost $200

  • nah magnifiying glasses wont make a 1$ laser burn anything. Just not enough power to use. 1mW wont burn shit

  • i want to buy a laser but dont want to be so powerful its illegal but not so small you cant see it. please give me some advice!

    thanks

  • A 4-5mW laser will have a clearly visible beam point and is legal in just about every country.

  • Laser are costly but you can ger for 50€ 10mW

Red because I bought for Holography .Once you have laser you can make it sharp.add you can find in Google

  • I just bought the 808nm IR Laser Pointer 400mW!!!!

    Its Flippin BRILLANT!!!!!!

  • With an IR laser, you don't mean the beam is brilliant do you?

  • dude a laser with an ir filter does reduce the show but the fuck up your eyes. all of the infared wavelengths can damage your eye

  • will i be able to make a laser out of a laser pointer with a red laser???

  • I may have misunderstood you but a laser pointer is a laser.

  • a $1 laserpointer with 2 magnifying glasses work too.... seriously

  • Put out the match on the table lol!!!

  • how can i get one of them in aus?

  • oh no not 2 feet 3 inches

  • Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration

  • LOOOOOOOOL

  • 2mw is about the smallest, the higher the mw, the more powerful it is. get at least 75mw to light matches, nothing else will light matches

  • Oh srry man- I didnt know that u were into that stuff, srry:)

  • Now tell me did u waste ur money on a fricken laser pointer just to burn some damn matches.

    Get a grip

  • It pops balloons too.

So, shut up, loser, it's cool.

  • OOOHHH so thats how you light a match.... riiiight i always taught thats what the strip on the side of the match box was for :S

  • yeah, a 100 dollar laser light just to light the match on fire while it's setting on top of the match box... lemme guess what else you can do with this, umm.. I dunno, maybe blind a pilot so you can kill innocent people, pop a balloon at a birthday party so the kid would cry, light someone's pants on fire, light that stranger's cigarette without getting close to him, hmm what's this for again?

  • Sounds like you don't like lasers. Like any hobby, its not for every one.

  • In this movie what Mw is it ? plz answer thanks, and i was considering buying a laser pen dunno which one. can u help me with that, i wanna buy one from dragonlasers, and i want one that can do the same as this one in the movie

  • thats hella cool i want one but couldnt it seriously burn you?

  • The worst it will do is sting exposed skin. Plenty of time to move out of the beam before any damage is done.

  • thanks. and whats mW mean?

  • mW meens Milla-Watt

  • to be perfectly honest... whats not hilarious about setting your neighbors pantys on fire... even better if you do it b4 he has sex with his wife....

  • i have a 95mW and I put in some batteries that were old.Does it effect the power, because mine is not lighting matches?

    Please respond

  • Yes, put new batteries in.

  • that was not two feet away.

  • I use metric so i'm not sure. How far away do you think it is?

  • probably one foot away but the last match was probably a centimeter away

  • Two feet is around 66 cm I think. I dunno I use metric too.

  • You don't light matches on top of the damn box.

  • Then what is the striker for?

  • Is there a store that sells these? I can't find anything besides fucking websites.

  • i cant deside between a viper 95mW laser pen at dragon lasers or a 200 mW laser pen on eBay(they r both 200 dollars). please write back. this is a christmas prezent.

  • dragon lasers ebay u cant trust

  • Not always true I'm selling a REAL 150mW on eBay.

  • lol

  • wow thats tight, but i got this kindv awkward question. is it really safe burning matches wit that kewl green laaaaser on a woooood taaaable?????? even if it was pammed or anything it still seems kindv not safe. one more thing, will it cause any radiation to your skin like behind your hand?
