there's not a lot that hasn't been said here yet, but I just want to add that this is a Stunningly Beautiful piece of Great music, a sheer Pleasure to my ears, Thank You Sir!!

  • @kazhilly Thank you, Kazhily,

Yes, I agree. It is an amazing piece of music. And the lyrics express the undaunted faith and optimism of the 'Man of LaMancha ', Cervantes' tragi-comic knight.

  • fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @goksicar91

I play a Hohner 64 chromatic. The instrument is pitched in 'C', but being chromatic, it can be played in any key, although only a handful of players have accomplished this.

    Best wishes,

    Jim watkins

  • @MrStablelad

I play a Hohner 64 chromatic. An equivalent instrument is also produced by Herring and Suzuki, I believe.

  • NO WORDS ....

only STARS where the impossible dreams, live with...

    thank yoy!...

  • @sonetakias

Thanks! I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it.

    Best to you,

  • Nice and Smooth , just great sound. , what Chromatic are you using clansworth?

  • verrryyyy ggoooodddd,,,

    like it much,,, :-)

  • Fantastic ! Any tips for newcomers to this instrument?

  • @moonlandingwasfake

    Tips:

    1. Learn to blow and draw single notes by tongue-blocking or puckering. I'm a tongue-blocker myself.

    2. Don't spend all your time playing tunes. Learn the 12 major scales. Of course you can enjoy the instrument without doing this, but if you really want to master the chromatic harmonica, it's pretty much a requirement.

  • I'm just amazed at how smooth your notes are. Nice Job!!

  • Thanks, aliens23go !

I've been playing chromatic harmonica for about 60 years. I guess I should be pretty good at it by now.

    Best wishes

    Jim Watkins

  • Nice! I've been watching all your fine clips! I wanted to comment on the Phantom clip and couldn't, so I'll do it here.

  • r u Jim Watkins

  • Yup!

  • I can't wait until I am that good!

  • Very nice tone and vibrato. Just what the song needed. Excellent

  • Jim, absolutely beautiful musicianship!

All your hard work has paid off, I love all your songs!

Do you do your own background tracks as well? They are very well done and balanced.

With such an open and full sound, are you a tongue-blocker vs. using a pucker? Just curious!

Keep it up! And God Bless!

    Warren

  • Yes, I create all of my accompaniment using a Roland synthesizer/sequencer. I'm a tongue blocker.

    Thanks, Jim

  • I wish i could do that! For that reason this makes it into my top 10 "Impossible Dreams". ;)

  • this is sound of soul no words

    God bless you regards

  • Thank you for sharing the wonderful music

  • That goes for me too Jim,I think it's perfect and you have mastered this instrument.

  • that is amazing =D

  • Thanks for your kind comments. I've devoted nearly all of my

life to the goal of mastering the chromatic harmonica. It's very gratifying to know that my music is enjoyed and appreciated

    by others.

  • Your music is astoundingly beautiful. I have no words that could match the beauty of your harmonica.

  • Great, Jim! It's just perfect!

  • Great! Nothing more to say, because i think it's perfect.
